@Pandora_and_her_box Knee is OK just some soreness. It's one of these things that is inevitable especially when running trails. The aim is to do it without anyone but the sheep noticing ;)

MFP is not an accurate way to monitor iron intake, Most database entries don't have that entered and iron is not legally required in most countries on food labels so it will in no way be accurate. If you have concerns go and get tested by your doctor. As for the calculation MFP use the RDA which I can't remember off the…

Use the search function and read the 2000 other threads on this. It'll save a lot of people retyping their answers

They forgot to mention that cutting out sugar will end world Poverty The thing is the things in that article that do have some merit are basically the improvements in health that you can get by losing weight (getting to a normal weight range)and exercising/keeping active. As always it's this blinkered view that you just…

It's probably more to do with form. If you have hip and back issues your form will more likely change depending on the speed your running therefore putting strain on your calves in a different way. I'd look at increasing your mobility by stretching or Yoga and maybe look into some form of strength training.

Just because your ethical about animals does not mean you not ethical around humans. I try to live as ethically as I can through all streams of my life. I do not believe in the needless slaughter and exploitation of people the same way I do not believe in the needless exploitation or slaughter of animals. Your argument…

This is a bit of a comedy thread when the low carb people don't seem to know what foods contain carbs. :D

I was a 333 pound vegan. I'm now a 196 pound vegan. Eating as a vegan is no miracle way to lose weight it is however imo a positive ethical choice for animals and the environment

Personally anything around my waist will either chaff or annoy me. I use a INOV8 Race ultra hydration vest. Which gives me the option of carrying one or 2 500ml bottles and a 2 litre bladder. The majority of the time I use it with just one bottle and you really don't notice it. Yes its more cost than a lot of belts but if…

So you think you've got 200 pounds of LBM? In reality unlikely
-
So you're eating 240g of protein a day? In reality even if your an active weightlifter that is far more than you need. Remember other Macros are important as well including carbs

Sorry this is just a myth as a Vegan (not a Raw one) for 20 years plus the only thing that is difficult to get through a Vegan diet is Vitamin B12 which is easily available via fortified foods or a supplement. As for talking to a health care provider most are pretty clueless about any Non meat eating diet and will be…

That's nice for you. So you want to lose 24 pounds so obviously your body wasn't communicating well then? So why is it communicating better now? A new mobile phone a séance?

How have you measured your BF%?

MFP is not an accurate way to track iron. Most entries on the database don't have iron entered. So I would not take any notice of that. If you have concerns about iron go and get tested by your doctor. Just to add Vegetarians and Vegans do not have any more incidence of anaemia than the general population, so as long as…

Actually a lot of research has pointed to over consumption of red meat as indicated in these medical issues - Just saying - >:)

My suggestion would be to find the steepest local hill (be it road or trail) and just do hill repeats on it. It may be dull but it will build the leg strength up. Also steps any local buildings or walkways with flights of steps? I've also heard of people using a treadmill and cranking the incline up (I can't believe I just…

@skippygirlsmom I always tell myself in the hills that I'll enjoy the decent. Today that wasn't the case as my legs were pretty well shot at the end so descending rocky trails at speed wasn't going to happen unless I want to face plant ;) . I've learned to 'enjoy' climbs just because I know they're good for me (do I sound…

It depends on what sort of food you like and what you want to serve it with. Google and pinterest are you best bets
