Dymatize ISO, Optimum Nutrition Gold Standard, or Sprouts Farmer's Market. In basic chocolate or vanilla. All are high protein, low carb, low calorie, low sugar.

This is pretty close to what my Garmin FR235 shows I burned on today's intervals (1 min. jog/2 min speed walk): .65 x 225 x 2.16 = 315.9 Garmin = 353

I'm on the pre-op liquid diet. I go in Monday, 7/14 for the sleeve.

I was using a FR 610. Recently purchased a FR 235 and use that now. They both do all I require/meet all my needs. The 235 is newer and has a few newer features but they're both great.

I've been sick for over 2 months so have been doing little or nothing. Trying to get well. However, when I was healthy I was doing 20 minutes of calisthenics to warm up, an hour and 15 minutes of weight lifting, and then a 2 mile jog/walk on M-W-F for a combined daily total of a bit over 2 hours. On T-TH I was up to 18…

A CPAP isn't used for weight loss and it isn't a weight loss tool. It's to keep your airway open so you can breath and get a goods nights sleep. Losing weight could possibly help with your sleep apnea.
-
And you didn't call the doc back or visit to follow up & find out what's what? If you have obstructive sleep apnea in addition to giving you a good night's sleep a CPAP could save your life. 2 friends of mine passed away due to sleep apnea. I've been using one (Actually a BIPAP [2 different pressures]) for nearly 5 years…

4 CUPS of water a day!? Not nearly enough. 8 GLASSES a day (8 cups) is minimum recommended.
-
Greetings. So you're 74 now and weigh 92kgs, what are you asking for help with?
-
What scale are you using?
-
Tried it for about 4 - 5 days but couldn't tolerate it. First night all jangled and little sleep (Which I expected to happen). But then instead of "Wiring me up" I had the exact opposite happen- Total fatigue and felt like crap. Didn't want to do anything (And certainly not exercise). So, stopped taking them. Took a few…

Thanx all. I pulled the trigger and bought one. Arrives tomorrow. We'll see.

Greetings. A better pair of shoes and use an additional cushion, and walk, don't run, until you take more weight off. I had a similar problem when I was 280+ and trying to jog- All that weight and pounding really put a hurting on my poor feet. Once I took off an additional 20 pounds the foot pain went away.

Hi Rod. Yes, I frequent DC Rainmakers website which is where I learned about the scale. And all my products are Garmin. I'm leaning heavily towards the Index but will wait a few days to see what other, if any, response I receive here, on Ray's site, and the Garmin forum. Cheers, Mark

Hi Lisa (?). You can get both Fish and Krill oil with Omega-3. Now, as far as supplements, keep in mind there are 2 sides to every coin and what works for me, or what I believe works for me may not be the same for you et al. Some will swear by supplements others will scoff and call them snake oil is what I'm saying. So…

I'll attest to Glucosamine (With chondroitin). I take it twice a day and I can really tell the difference. Used to have knee joint pain, popping, crackling, stiffness, etc. No more. I do also take various other supplements.

Tough one for you. Does he know what he's doing? Is he doing it deliberately? Is he a total wanker? If so, maybe tell him to piss off? If not, then talk to him, explain to him what you are doing and why, how important it is to you and mention that maybe he doesn't realize what he's doing but it's placing a lot of…

Yep, I expect to put on a few pounds over the holidays but I'll keep up the cardio and weights, and it'll come back off after the New Year.

Congratulations! Most excellent :)

Ah, no. That's an ignorant, uninformed statement. Buddy, I challenge you to eat a box of ex-lax and then have some self control and will yourself to hold it and not have an atomic *kitten* explosion in your shorts. It's the same with overeating or binge eating (Which are eating disorders like bulimia and anorexia). Like…

My experience? Horrible. I tried it for a few days but couldn't tolerate/stand it. First night it felt like I had taken a handful of sudafed or ephedrine- All jangled and an ephedrine-like head buzz. I honestly don't know that it reduced my appetite but it sure made me feel horrible- Run down, no energy, blah. Absolutely…

Depends on what you want to spend and what functions you want/need. Some can get spendy. I've been looking at Tanita body composition monitors for a while. Maybe something like the BC-1000 though the higher priced models look good too- http://www.tanita.com/en/products/184-catId.520093811.html Good review on the BC-100…

Don't. Don't give up & quit. It's tough, some days are like that. But you can do it. Push through it and stick with it. Stay strong.

Squats, lunges, wide leg squats, chair squats (Narrow & wide), 1 & 2 leg bridges. All with or without additional weight (Dumbbell or barbell). Fireplugs, donkey kicks, lateral leg raises.

I've always liked the fit, comfort, feel, and cushion of Asics, but I also bought a pair of Nike Air Pegasus 30's to alternate with my Asics GT-1000's. The Nike's are very nice but I had to go up 1 size because they are very snug. They are also very light, lighter than my Asics. As both pair are nearing the end of their…

What TeaBea said- Log it as cardio. According to my fitness coordinator, doing a good strength/resistance workout (Weight training) will burn a decent amount of calories and should be done at least twice a week in addition to cardio. Do you use any kind of fitness band/watch? I use a Garmin FR70 to measure calorie burn…

Once a week, no more. There will be up's and down's (Weight fluxuation) throughout the week and it's easy to get frustrated/discouraged if you check it every day. Sunday morning I check (And record) Resting Heart Rate (RHR), Blood Pressure, pulse, oxygen, blood sugar, and weight. I do check my RHR daily (If I remember :) )…
