Theresa, I can tell you that it is definitely doable. I have lost 167 lbs in 21 months so far. No surgeries, diets, pills, wraps or magic either. I want to lose about 33 more lbs because I'm only 5'4''. I never set out to be skinny, only healthy. I can do things I never imagined. I started running a year ago and have…

Definitely recommend the C25K app. Started last July. Couldn't run for 10 seconds. Took me 6 months but was finally able to run a full mile in January. Two months later I'm up to 3 miles/30 minutes running. Not fast, but endurance is there. Speed comes with time, I guess. Good luck!

I've lost 137 lbs in 16 months. So average of 8.5 lbs a month or roughly 2 lbs a week at a 1000 calorie a day deficit. It's getting harder, but seemed to work for me so far.

Wow, everyone looks so amazing and very inspirational! I'm down 137 lbs in 16 months. These are before and during pics. I'm a shorty at 5'4'' so I still want to lose about 50-60 more lbs to get to my goal. But feeling amaaaaaaaaaaaaaazing and can't wait to post before and AFTER pics! :)

I got these recently and they are the most comfortable running shoes ever. I just started running last July but these shoes are life! http://www.amazon.com/Nike-Womens-Lunarglide-Running-Black/dp/B00GST41YS/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1452867134&sr=8-1&keywords=womens+running+shoes+lunar

Hi all. I need to lose about 175 lbs. Well now I'm down to needing to lose about 100 lbs as I have lost 79 lbs so far! Been at this since mid-October. Feel free to add me everyone! Thanks!

Only 33 years old and had a health scare last October with heart palpitations due to stress and too much caffeine. I used to drink 600-700 calories a day of Mtn. Dew. Scared me enough that I quit cold turkey and haven't had a soda in 6 months. Have no desire for it. Started my new lifestyle and am down 63 lbs since…

That even though the scale says you have lost 61 lbs, you won't see it on most days. Especially if you still have a long way to go like I do.

Lost 61 lbs since I started using MFP in mid-October. Still a long way to go but it has been a life saver! One day at a time!

Hi everyone! I still have over 100 lbs still to lose. Lost 46 since I started my new lifestyle in mid-October. Add me! ~Shelley
