Back on the wagon after a holiday in London... then deciding give myself an extended break after returning lol only gained 4lbs in about 3 weeks of not REALLY watching what I eat (still logging everything though) and not IFing. Back at it!

I weigh myself daily and use the site TrendWeight to see the overall trend. It actually keeps me motivated to weigh daily, but I know it doesn't work for everyone.

Did two consecutive fast days and survived! It wasn't too bad. I'm seeing great results and it's really motivating me to tough it out on fast days, so much so it doesn't even feel like "toughing it out"

Does anyone fast for two consecutive days? When I skimmed through the book, I think it said not to - but is it generally alright to do every once in a while?

Looks like lots of people are fasting today. Good luck and happy fast day! :) My fast day was yesterday and had a great big whoosh of 2.2lbs down, or my scale could've just been cranky yesterday. Either way, I'll take it!

Do you weigh everyday? I do, and I'm using this site called http://TrendWeight.com and there's some scientific mumbo jumbo (from Hacker's Diet) that I won't get into, but it gives you trends and even if you have an up day on the scale, it's just a blip kind of thing. But love your positive thinking!

Welcome to the group! What I do on fast days is "quick add" the remaining calories, just to keep it even. Good luck with the fasting! It gets easier as the weeks go by. The group is very supportive too :)

Woo boo, way to go flumi! Speaking of scales, I'm the same scale number for the last two days (yesterday was after a fast day, today was not) and I was pleasantly surprised! Used to a small spike after a non fast day. Does anyone use the app TrendWeight?

it takes getting used to, doesn't it? being allowed to eat more than you think! I eat a bit less than my TDEE because I can manage eating at 1500-1600 - I feel like it's a good amount for me to stay full but with plenty of energy.
