  • Near me, I think the unlimited is $169/month. I'm doing the 8 classes per month for $109. I think there's a 4 pack for $69? And if you go over the 8 per month it's $18/class. That's all I can remember off the top of my head and they may not be totally accurate. The first class is free to try it out. Not sure if this is the…
  • I'm really tempted to go to the unlimited - I'm at the two a week right now. I'll probably give it at least this month and see how I feel about increasing the workouts. They're everywhere here (the first one was opened in south Florida where I am) and this one has been open at least a couple years. I just never tried it.…
  • South Florida - this heat is killing me
  • I weigh in every morning, and it's helpful. I use a Fitbit scale so it averages your weekly weight loss so I can see the trend. I've actually started to really understand the fluctuations or the plateaus and how long they'll last. I can't do weekly bc if I weigh only on Mondays, for example, I'd be discouraged if that day…
  • I looked up 65kg so I'm only a few pounds less than you and hips are about the same. Sounds like we'll both just have to wait and see if they finally shrink as we get closer to goal.
  • This is absolutely my problem! I'm halfway to my goal. At 139 right now, and my hips are still 39-40 inches. I hate it.
  • I'm officially 9 pounds away from reaching a healthy BMI. I've lost 15 so far. These last 9 (to my first goal) feel like 50! but it's my first goal and now it's in sight!
  • I know it's weird, but my Fitbit charge HR has made ALL the difference to me. I see the translation into exercise calories, but I also see what not being active does to my TDEE. So now not only do I have a step goal, but I have a daily TDEE goal which is so motivating!! I have 9 pounds to go until I hit the healthy BMI…
  • I'm so in the minority here. I love the app "Get Running." Maybe it's the British accent of the lady who cues and cheers me on? :) :-D
  • I stopped wearing it at night. I love it, I really do, but I'm way too sensitive to having something on my wrist and I move a lot in my sleep so I was waking up a lot. Much better now putting it on in the morning and taking it off when I'm ready to turn off the lights.
  • Finally a group I fit in! 20 pounds feels like it may as well be 50 or 100. I needed to lose 30, I've lost about 8 or 9 now -- and usually around 12 pounds down is when I quit because I get annoyed at counting. I'm trying mini-goals this time. First goal is just a healthy BMI. But that's still 10 pounds away.
  • I actually just started back in Tae kwon do two weeks ago! I figured comitting to classes and training would force me to get in shape. It's so frustrating to be so out of shape and not be able to do what I used to do bc of it.
