As everyone else have correctly pointed out, it is just a dairy product. Nothing bad about it. Just make sure to get a quality product. Some of the cheap crap is full of soy, and your definitely don't want that in your body.

I would add that it would probably not be a bad idea to shift some of your calories to a proper post workout meal, to make sure your muscles have something to work with.

What he likes or not, is non of your business. And you getting upset and (from what I can tell) passive aggressive over it, make YOU the bad-guy. Bottom line. You have no right to force anyone to change to fit what you want. That is massively selfish.

A 1250+ page thread exactly like this already exists: http://community.myfitnesspal.com/en/discussion/823358/what-do-your-meals-look-like-show-me-pictures/p1

Obviously it wins. The cop that can produce more food at a higher and more uniform quality, in harsher environments and with no negative points, will logically come out on top against anything that does not have those benefits. Science works. Simple as that.

I drink no less than 2 liters of water a day (not counting coffee, tea or anything else). So that would be 8 glasses. Last fruit: 2 pears in my recently completed breakfast. Last vegetable: Brussels sprouts, broccoli, carrot, zucchini and onion, as those were all in my dinner last night.

I honestly would not want to live if I could not enjoy my food. I look forward to every single meal I eat. Eating things you don't enjoy, will not make you live longer. It will just make it feel that way.

Somewhere around the $600,- mark. One person and not including any meals eaten out.
-
In the time you spent writing that post, you could have found out by actually doing it.
-
Some of the things I eat on a daily or near daily basis are: Baby spinach. Brussels sprouts. Broccoli. Carrots. Eggs. Oats. Cottage cheese. Apples.

In terms of macros, yes. And sure, I was being overly simplistic, as there are more factors than I care to go into. Most of which are not directly relevant in relation to the OP's question. He want to loose weight. That means more calories out than in. There are calories in both meat and not non-meat based food.
-
Your body doesn't care where the calories come from.
-
That is one powerful rebuttal you got going there. You sure showed those pesky facts that the laws of physics are no match for you. Well done
-
I have never implied any such thing, and I resent the dishonest accusation. Do not put words in my mouth to fit your narrative.

For breakfast, it does not get much easier than overnight oats. And without sacrificing proper nutrition.
-
Duck livers, pan fried with mushrooms and onions, on lightly toasted sourdough rye/carrot bread topped with eggs.

Are you talking about surimi sticks (also commonly known as crab sticks)? If so, there is nothing really bad about it. Sodium tends to be somewhat high but other than that, it's perfectly fine. Almost no fat and a decent amount of protein. It is basically just various lean white fish meats ground up and formed.
-
For accurate comparison, you might want to add nutritional values as they vary quite a bit.

The idea of weighting yourself in the morning, is not so much about it being your "lightest" point in the day (which it may not be). It is for consistency. If it is part of your regular morning routine, it will always be with the same food and water intake for that day (none). That way the result will not be affected as…

Various forms of nut butters are among the absolute top. About 100 calories for one table spoon and healthy too. On occasion (not very often) I have used that to quickly make up a calorie deficit. Usually in form of a block of dark chocolate smeared with peanut or almond butter as you would a piece of toast. That is a…

So your claim is that consistently eating less than the body needs to survive without any physical activity, is not going to eventually starve you to death? What you are claiming is like saying that a car that has a 200 mile range on one tank of fuel, can do that trip on less fuel every day. Short term fasting is not going…

Lunchtime. At the desk as usual. Baby leaf spinach, grated carrot, cherry tomatoes, celery, red bell pepper, a couple of hard boiled eggs and a bunch of mini mozzarella balls with vinaigrette.
-
It is actually exactly the same, regardless of weight. The more you start out with, the longer it will take. But the end result is the same. There should never be any of this vague "it won't kill you in the short run" nonsense. This is a black and white issue. It is never advisable to eat below ones BMR for any period of…
-
Your BMR (Basal Metabolic Rate) is what your body needs to survive WITHOUT any physical activity. It is pretty much the bare minimum if you were in a coma. Eating below that is literally the same as killing yourself. It may be slower than a shotgun to the face, but just as effective.
-
Agreed. Blaming everyone else for your problems and shortcomings is never going to do anything other than make sure you never get anywhere. Take responsibility for your life and stop making excuses. At 30 years of age you should not be whining about how "mean" your mother is. That is not how adults work. Don't like living…
-
Are you sure that is your BMR and not your TDEE? For a person of your size and age, It fits pretty well if it includes a lot of exercise (6-7 days a week). In any case, you are looking at a BMR of around 2100-2200 calories. And whatever you do, you NEVER wan't to go below that. NEVER.
-
That is simply not true. Take spinach for example. Pretty much the best of the bunch in terms of nutritional value. I dare you to honestly say that FRESH baby leaf spinach is bitter. If anything, it is slightly sweet.
-
Those numbers can't possibly be correct, unless your weight is somewhere around 50kg.
-
The really simple way would be to enter the relevant parameters in the "goals" section of your profile. To loose weight in a healthy fashion, you basically just need to consume fewer calories than your TDEE but more than you BMR. Exercise will obviously raise your TDEE. Without knowing all relevant data it is entirely…

Are you asking if it is OK to eat the bone? And regardless of your question, you need to add some details. Are you trying to loose weight, bulk or maintain? Poorly formed questions get poorly formed answers.
