Hey Everyone, I'm new, back tracking on MFP after being away for a while and gaining like crazy. I like the idea of accountability, hope I'm not too late.. I'm a wife, mom of 2 smallies, stepmom to 4, full time desk job. I've been round the weight loss houses and again i'm trying to do it myself. Started back working out…

Thanks @Keladelphia, i have a lot of anxiety when i'm working out with others and in public so it really is a huge challenge for me :( The guys doing it were really supportive and i'm glad I went. We will see how many of those who went today will be there next week, and how many have done the additional 2 sessions we have…

I've just sent you a friend request, I'm also on the same weight loss scale and suffer from Depression and some other mental health issues. It is daunting but its not unachievable if you just put one foot in front of the other and take baby steps. I have found the support here amazing, looking forward to connecting more!

I've been so hungry without all the fatty heavy foods in my system. There is literally nothing filling me up at all! Regardless of how healthy/tasty it is, I want the naughty foods.

The first week is always going to be hard, your body goes through a mini detox and it will test your will power but it will get better, your body will adjust and you will feel the benefit of it. Take it slow, make a small change every week, be more mindful in your eating . Good Luck

@Rachel0778 thanks Rachel. It's definitely something I need to sort out, I definitely think if I go down the same negative road that I know I can in this attempt I will be seeking professional help again, 15 years is about 15 years too long to be engaged in this ridiculous self-absorbed head melting behavior. I absolutely…

@distinctlybeautiful I'm all for the wanting immediate results, it really is a case of like why am I not skinny already, i've been at this 24hrs!! Which is truly ridiculous! I can relate to a lot of what you said though. I'm definitely not tracking my macros, that would really be too triggering, but making conscious…

I've started to wonder lately is fitspiration any better than thinspiration @nicola8989. They are different sides of the same toxic sword in my opinion. Both equally obsessive if you can be easily triggered.

That's understandable, what about a splash and dash approach after work?

Thanks @Rachel0778, unfortunately I can't find my therapist i've tried many times over the last number of years. She seems to have moved practices. I'm determined to beat this myself and share my journey with others who may suffer too. I am doing a lot of self-study too, another goal of mine throughout this journey.

Thanks @goldthistime I really appreciate your advice, i'm definitely for slow and long lasting at this point. It has to be better than a yo-yo weight.

Thanks @TRIX5884, it is totally easy to become consumed and that's what I am trying not to let happen. I'm doing a lot of mental work to try and "recover" in this area because actions are easier to take when you support yourself mentally. I've also left the gym over random things that people would think meant nothing and…
