Thats great - i'll aim for that. And reduce calories also in view of not gaining more body fat than i have to? Or is it important to keep calories the same as my body is really supposed to be recovering during a lighter week?

I have it most days and it doesn't seem to stop me gaining - i do find it is quite filling though so obviously don't let it take the place of food needed to reach calorie goals.

Ok - thats helpful and a new view to me. I'm often a bit over protein, just under carbs and try not go over on fat but I'll aim now to jus tnot be under any of them.

Now i have increased my calorie target to 3500 fat 'allowance' is now 97g/day. Today for example i am over it.

I would love to have more fat (peanut butter, red meat always seem to take me to my limit). my split is currently 50% carbs, 25% 25% so i usually eat around 80 - 90g fat a day.

Hi. I have similar issues :-( I get on fine with using standard recipes but replacing any milk with Almond milk or oat milk. thanks - thats all useful. my current 2 legs days i do squats on one day and deads the 2nd day. I'm probably not doing enough reps of 'heavy' though - i usually am only doing 2 or 3 sets of near my 1 rep max. As to eating my diary is open - i think its quite clean but like any guidance or tips!

yes - i do try and have a shake and oats/blueberries within 30mins - 1hr. So eating fruit during then doesn't have the wrong affect on my insulin? (I'm not actually sure what affect i want to have on it though - do i want a spike or a low?) trying to learn :\ :)
