  • Hiya what us your sodium intake daily it should be less than 1500 mg
  • Hi as a suggestion - when you at your home base i would make either: stir-frys, chili, beef stew, shepherd' pie, bake chicken breasts which you would then freeze in individual portions. Take as many servings out of the freezer that you would need for road trips and supplement with either baby carrots, celery sticks, bagged…
  • Hi all what worked for me is uninstalling the mfp app and then re-installing and selecting the fitbit app after i reinstalled the mfp. hope this works for you too. i know that fitbit was down for maintenance at least one time this past weekend but can't remember which day.
  • yes i had that message yesterday, was only down for a short time :)
  • Hi i usually eat 3/4 cup egg whites for breakfast, 35 cal yogurt snack, lunch 4-6 oz protein and salad w/2 tbsp s. drsg or 2 cups coleslaw instead of salad + 1 oz goji berries, dinner is 6 oz lean [unbreaded] frozen fish, baked chicken [no skin/only spices] or pork tenderloin, combo of low glycemic veggies, + 2 tsp of…
  • Yes you are eating too little. In my case I am 5.1, and eat between 1200-1500 calories a day. Typically consume close to 1200. I am extremely careful about sodium intake [need to keep it below 1500 mgper day as i tend to bloat up and retain water. Also check your fat intake - you should be getting 1 - 2 Tbsp of fat per…
  • Hi yes it will sync with fitness pal same as the fitbit. You might also want to check out a free app at the google play store called Icardio. this app will sync any activity you do with myfitness pal so that you don't have to manually enter your exercise into mfp
  • For breakfast, i don't have a problem with eating left-overs either. I've often eaten lean protein stir-frys or left over beef stew, goulash whatever for breakfast. As long as it's lean protein with low glycemic veggies i'm good to go.
  • Hi all, besides egg whites with low glycemic veggies and no salt spices one of my fave brekkies is: no sodium chicken broth with cut up lettuce, fresh spinach, or zuchini or celery and and 4 oz of chopped lean protein either chicken, turkey or pork tenderloin. Very filling and fast. I typically will broil 6-8 chicken…
  • Hi all, got mine Vivofit for Christmas - absolutely love, love love it!. have been on the 125 challenge board as rustyboo. Maybe will see you guys on that board. I find it definitely motivates me to keep moving. As an aside, I found an awesome app to sync with the vivo - it's called Icardio - its a free app that measures…
  • Hi, as a suggestion for sweets try eating dried apricots instead of sugar. For carbs the best solution is to decrease slowly so if you are eating white bread, rice etc switch to brown, then whatever portions you are eating of the carbs regularly try decreasing by a quarter/half. in the case of rice you could eat less by…
  • hi have a few suggestions, i'm 5.1 and average between 12 to 14 a day and am losing weight w/minimal exercise. generally have 3 egg whites w/spices and a bit of veggies for brekkie, snack mid-am usually 2 yogurts [1 greek/1 no fat] lunch usually 5-6 oz of lean protein with a low glycemic veggie, snack in the afternoon is…
