Are you accurately counting your calories? What is your diet? Have you changed your physical activity recently?

Are you female and still having menstrual cycles? Some women only see a new low weight once per month, though that isn't the most common pattern.

Did you start a new exercise program, or increase exercise, as part of your diet plan? Increased exercise can cause a little water retention (for muscle repair), and water retention can temporarily mask fat loss on the scale.

Does your diet include eating more fruits/veggies, or drinking more water? Increasing fiber or fluid may make your average digestive tract contents more voluminous, and that, too, has a weight that can mask fat loss. It's not important, if it's that: It's on its way to becoming waste.

Those are just some examples that can happen. There are other similar possibilities.

Eventually, hormonal, water retention, or waste weight will level off, and fat loss - if it's happening - will show up on the scale.

Patience is a good helper in weight loss.

    Best wishes!

No - only if there is a medical reason for it to be this low.
