  • Yep. I’m not hugely overweight, but I put it on really really easily and every pound is a struggle and fight to lose. Sucks but I’ve kinda accepted it for what it is. I generally try to keep my carbs down a bit, my body definitely doesn’t do well with loads, but to be sustainable I need to not go crazy. And otherwise just…
  • Shock absorber for exercising, bravissimo for general. Try brastop.com for cheaper (if you don't mind last season ;-) )
  • I listen to Ben Coomber, Fit Girl, Half Size Me, Precision Nutrition, Geek Fit... I think that's the main ones? Most of them have a good back catalogue too, should keep you going for a while!
  • Interestingly in the last year or so I've had several friends who've had significant success with Slimming World. Seems to be more 'educational' than WW, therefore sustainable. Might just be a UK co though? Not sure. Personally MFP on its own has been fine for me but I didn't have significant food issues to un/relearn,…

Now fair enough I'm probably getting towards an 8/10…

  • Before is passport photo from 2005. The other was just the other day on my birthday. Only 30lb ish difference - but apparently I don t have a round face at all ;-)
  • I have PCOS and seem to have a tipping point around 160lb - above that my periods go haywire. Since dropping to nearer 140lb I've got the closest to a regular cycle I've ever had. We'll all have different trigger points, but yes - losing weight is likely to alleviate symptoms.
  • I love mine. I have the Charge HR as I'd received a small bonus from work. Since wearing it and syncing with MFP I've lost 11lb that has been hanging around for a year or more. I thought I was fairly active but having this has made me realise how often I'm actually sedentary. It's meant I've started walking to the station…
