@lorrainequiche59 Good thoughts. The 'let it go' mantra is a necessity for me. It also works when I have flashbacks of stupid things I have done, too. "Let it go. There's nothing you can do about it now. Just don't do it again."

@Craig_King_1967 Side effect of getting older: we no longer bounce when we fall. Now it's more of a thud. And every time my body creaks, a quick mental check to determine whether it was a normal creak or a bad pop.

@VeggieGirlforLife Me too! But then again, when I was drinking, there was a lot of other planning, too, i.e, when and where, balance between drunk and not too drunk, not drinking excessively in front of any one person....

You're doing a duathlon. Get some pool time in, and you're doing a tri. And people do it every weekend, all the time. Enjoy using your body!

Anyone else in a new job or new city as you work on becoming a new you? I'm doing all 3, and now that I finally have an apartment, I am hoping to get consistent with calorie counting and exercise. New recipes are always appreciated! :)

2 months on the road, with Thanksgiving being the first time since September where I was home for more than 4 nights.
