I personally don't like exercising, training. I love running in summer or spring, though. Drinking water and not eating hamburgers are so much easier for me than lifting weight. 85% diet and 15% HIIT is my way.

I lost my 7 kg-s very very slowly. It felt like my weight never changes but I went back in my calendar one or two pages (weeks) and saw that I was about 1 kg more back then. Drinks can be very tricky, I drink mostly water.
-
Morning protein shake which has a lot of coffein or fried egg with a little piece of cheese and half a slice of bread.

Add me if you like too. I don't log my food but I could write more to my timeline. Seeing junkfood around you must be hard. You should not lose much, tiptoe's comment is good. I consider today the beginning of a new year because I start a work week today so it is not Christmas anymore.

Good job mate!

+1 You can't risk creating work-enemies out of them. If their way don't work they will see it after some time.

I think it is better to have some "not-diet" food in the morning and not for dinner. You can process it better through the day. I love pizza but it can't make me feel full and I hate it when I eat something and become hungry very soon after. It is harder to find motivation for me too because now I am the only one who can…

+1 and eat more protein and less carbs in your diet. Protein is very important to maintain or even grow muscle mass of course besides doing strength training. Drink a protein shake after your s. training.
-
Me too because I am 170cm tall and 68,5kg and I should lose about 2 kg which is about 5 pounds.
-
I bought Schwarzenegger's The Book for bodybuilders or something like this and that helped me understanding training and body types and losing fat.
-
I am not a trainer just like to read about these questions a lot. My opinion is strength training is more important, you should do cardio if you have time doing that besides doing weight training.
-
+1 I am in a similar situation but as my belly gets smaller I am the only one that can see it. The last 2,3 kg-s are hard. I will get there soon so will you.

For the last 5 month my dinner was mostly protein powder. It's only about 110kcal plus 50kcal from the milk. It has a great flavour and it makes me feel full. Probably the same result can be reached by eating a piece of meat with paprika or a tomatoe for dinner, something like this.

I would put it this way: I lost a lot of fat and gained some muscle. I use the word gain as in I lifted weight and my muscles became much biggger. Muscle I did not have before. PRK eye surgery and before that I had minus 7,5 eyesight so I was afraid of straining my eyes with lifting, I still won't lift more than 30kg.
-
Okay, what you say makes sense but my point of origin was a very low amount of muscles on my body. (I was afraid of lifting because I had laser eye surgery.) I can see that I have built big shoulders and biceps, triceps, etc but I agree that I were not able to see them if I had big layers of fat on my body. I lost weight…

Then explain, please what do you mean by that. I am not blind so I can see myself in the mirror. Update: And I have recently changed from a 33size jeans to a size 28.
-
Well I am 170cm tall and 69 kg now and I could lose fat and gain muscles at the same time. Because of this, the scale went down very slowly. I was lifting weight at home with dumbbels and going to the gym once a week for the last 2 months. About yoyo dieting - eat small amounts in every 3 or 4 hours. My opinion.
-
Maybe it is a good idea to get a tiny plate and when they cook some good looking meal, you can get a little amount to that tiny plate so that you can feel the taste. I am on a strict diet but of course I miss foods I like so I only eat a little bit of them. Today I will eat half an isler cookie.
-
Congrats and I wish you success! I can understand being afraid of exertion. I have a heart rate monitor wristwatch and I have used it for running and started to use it for the gym too.
-
I lost about 7kg in the last 6 months. My dinner is almost always a protein shake with 1dl milk. Nowadays closing to my goal sometimes I eat meat with a tomatoe or paprika for dinner (no bread, no carbs after 18:00). One is chocolate flavoured, the other is chocolate-coconut.

I think you need to eat about 5 times a day. I used to eat 3 times but I got very hungry before lunch and after lunch I got very sleepy so I drank energy drinks. And before I started dieting I know that when I ate a big lunch, like a double amount I still became hungry after about 3 hours. Now I eat at 7:45, 10:30, 13:00,…

Hi Alex! I do 30 minutes long workouts every day too and I go to the gym once a week to work with heavier weights there. Well, my 30 mins is about strength training with one-handed barbells. My cal intake is about 1200-1300 kcal too which is very low. I would advise decreasing your cal intake by 100 every week and when you…

If someone spent years riding a bike and does that everyday again the body can get used to it. I would advise strength training of course being gentle with your knee.
-
That's right I lose 1 kg per 3 weeks too. If you gain muscles the scale will go down slower. I eat very small meals in every 3-4 hours so I am never too hungry.
-
I lost and continue to lose weight very very slowly. When I started lifting weights at home it showed fast so that always gave me motivation. I eat very small but frequent meals, about in every 3-4 hours. I lose 1kg per 3 weeks if I keep my strict diet. It often looks like that I am stuck but when I check my calendar, I…

I eat or drink protein shake for dinner almost every day. I drink it with 1/3 part milk and 2/3 water, the milk gives it a good taste. Well, I drink Iso Whey shake and Nitro gold pro enzy fusion with chocolate flavour. I live in Budapest, Europe.
-
I eat a protein shake for dinner almost every day but protein is just essential nutrition. Because I can't eat that much fruits and vegetable, I take a multivitamin, vitamin C every day. Sometimes I drink green tea but mostly when I am bored of water.
-
Every morning and I log it and when I come home after work while changing clothes because it takes about 20 seconds to weigh myself.

Most of the cases the problem is eating too much. But if someone eats too few calories the metabolism can slow down, so for those people some suggest eating a bit more once a week. I take my vitamin intake from pills because I only eat one apple a day. I lost 6 kg in the past 5 months, so my speed was about 1kg in 3 weeks.…
