Why not put some salt on some cucumbers or something? If you want salty, pretend cucumber slices with salt are chips? Not many of us love eating better, but we do it because we're determined. If you give it time, your mind will likely change and it'll become second nature.

You have to buy a food scale. I have 3 kids and a disabled mom too and I used to think the food scale didn't matter, well, it does. It's made a tremendous difference for me. Even pre-packaged things. My popcorn, for example, says 2 1/2 cups (28g) = 1 serving at 150 calories.... I weighed it... 28g was barely a cup... so if…

This is what I was going to say too. I used to think that a scale wouldn't make a difference, but OMG IT DOES! I seriously love mine. I am on 1200 calories and I lost 5 lbs my first week and this is with an autoimmune thyroid disease. I was underestimating EVERYthing and eating way too little before! Invest in a food…

You need to stop listening to everyone else and find what works for you. Only you know, and only you can find out. You can try suggestions from others, but it's a tricky process. I don't agree with the 21 day fix, personally, but I know many people that do. You should get a food scale and start there though. That way you…

I think it is... I usually walk 20-30 minutes a day and I can tell a difference when I do it consistently.

I am not posting my whole schedule, but I have 3 kids... 1, 4, and 5.... 8 cats, disabled mom I help A LOT, and I'm managing a 4.0 in school and still make the time. It might not be much time, or as much as other people on my friends list, but I don't make excuses. I do what I can do.

I personally hate my elliptical. I bought one and used it once. I can't stand it. I love my treadmill.

I completely understand where you're coming from, though, I have health issues hindering my goals. This is the reason I've given up in the past. I was weak, to be completely honest. I finally stopped the self-pity and am getting PROPERLY treated for my medical issues. It's still going to be harder for me than a "normal"…

I had pretzel sticks and beer cheese from a bar last night... and I have issues with gluten.. so dumb and naughty of me. I am paying the price. WORTH IT

If they're not bothering me, what does it matter? Not hurting me any.

I'm not worrying about the Christmas foods myself. To me, it's a time for family and get togethers with celebrating. I'm going to eat the same foods as normal, just less of them. I don't think that the foods are so bad really anyway. Instead of regular mashed potatoes, try sweet potatoes? Instead of ham, maybe do a chicken…

Doctor scales are never calibrated right. Seriously, ever. I always go by my digital at home. I've also noticed that the non-digital types, doctor or at home ones, are lower. I would stick to the one you're used to weighing on.

OMFG this is the best!

Same here LOL Love it

No because a handicapped person might need it. Would you get your ex's name tattooed on you for a million dollars?
