Actually you need more specific information than that. An actual caloric number to meet by month of pregnancy ( it typically increases in the last trimester), and even a few meals plans that fit that caloric range. They also will be accounting for micros you need to meet while pregnant. Call your OB and ask for another…

I am just curious here... Was that range something you read somewhere or your cardiologist said that? I am bradycardic as well, but I am seeing it below those values. Sometimes 40 or 39. I had a few tests years ago when I was going for a surgery and they stopped everything since they were afraid of putting me under. I…

36-27-41. Can't seem to drop the gigantic hips!!! I need to drop at least 3 inches at my hips to fit better in my clothes...I will pendent me under 26" waist before I get to 38" hips. Sigh...

Agreed! Both my sons are underweight and get smoothies / juices in addition to their normal diet to attempt to gain weight. This is doctor recommended supplementing typical for children. Less volume with high caloric content. Of course they use a lot more than veggies in them.

Wait did you accidently change your profile to be female? No way it should go under 1500 calories for a guy. Something is wrong for sure...

My perfect storm was caused by my two children being in the hospital this year. It really provided a good perspective of what is important and as they were finally discharged on Christmas eve I decided that everything else was just noise and distractions. I am sure I somehow failed to meet expectations of other family…

The only issue I personally had with very high protein percentage ( and mine was about 4O%) was kidney issues. I ended up with back to back stones and even lower kidney function temporarily as one blocked part of the flow. I was told by the doctors to decrease my protein level. I am much more cautious now. By the way I…

50% protein? That is a very high protein intake and 20% fat is a little low. I developed kidney problems with 40% protein and am now aiming for no more than 30. It is best not to generalize statements like this. I had no previous kidney issues prior to my switch in macros.

Sometimes I just feel tired and no longer hungry. I might notice that I am irritated for no reason and I remember it must be hunger. Fasting for tests ruins my entire day..it makes me useless and unproductive the rest of the day. It stinks! I guess intermittent fasting would not work for me!

Thank you everyone! I have thought of adding more meals but with only 1400 calories it is tricky. I usually eat protein heavy in the am, salad with protein at lunch and then it all goes downhill from there. I start feeling exhausted by 3 pm typically... Then I try sticking to greek yougurt and some fruit. But I feel…

I have tried these and are delicious. OP you can make your own for a decent low calorie. I typically prefer my filling on a salad and just sprinkle the shell in small pieces on top to give it since crunch. A little low fat sour cream and scallions makes it delicious! Everyone else in the family eats them on either stuff or…

Me neither! This is getting way too annoying and frustrating. I am about ready to get a fitbit and ditch garmin!! Is is Garmin app the problem? Are you guys sending requests for help to Garmin or MFP?

My biking workout won't sync, my steps did. It has been over an hour hope it will eventually come in since it was a tough 45 minutes. I want my dessert!
-
I know but my OCD makes me have a hard time seeing those red numbers! I am weird like that. It is working so far today...just steps so far. Let's see in the late pm if my workout syncs.
-
I finally got my steps and calories today. Hours later! And since I had over 600 calories extra, it would have been nice to have eaten a larger lunch and pm snack. Hope tomorrow this sync happens more timely. Yesterday I never got it to sync at all!
-
So frustrating! I tried to add the workouts directly in MFP and of course it gave me negative calories back to zero. Sigh... If anyone figures out a solution or yours starts working again, could you let me know? Thank you!
-
Thank you. It happened yesterday for me as well. I just realized there was an update yesterday for Connect. It must no longer work with MFP.

Super helpful. I did start with the default macros but have switched to 40% carbs and 30% for protein and fat. I am not always there with the protein but average about 26 or 27%. I think I really should add maybe more cardio besides walking, and elliptical or Stationary bike. I used to run and do a couple hour long dance…

Yikes! I am pear shaped so I wonder if the bio impedance scales assume my fat is every distributed. I swear 10% of my fat sits in just my thighs! I guess having a flat stomach must mean I pay the price somewhere else.
-
I understood that. I just thought that I could see that range drop several percentage points as I lost fat. I will ignore the body fat reading from the scale from now on. It is only making me frustrated.
-
Thanks for all your help. Very helpful information. It is obvious I need to cut further, but wouldn't it be nice to measure progress using an accurate body fat tool at home? Maybe my own Christmas gift to myself will be a dexa scan. But the calipers, once I learn how to use them sounds like am interesting method. I really…

My body fat varies 5% daily!! Highest when I weight when I wake up. I always use that value. It only dropped 1% at most since February. If I lost about 7% of total body weight slowly and doing progressive weight training, I should have lost at least half of those 7% in fat, no?
-
Just make each serving a gram in recipe builder.so for that dish you have 2659 servings. Then you could record exactly how many grams of that fish you had. 100 servings=100 grams.
-
Thank you. Piece if junk. I knew the absolute number might be off but I was hoping I could at least measure progress ( loss of 4% for example). It sounds like you can't.
-
Just did now. They both gave me about 26%. That makes it sound so much better! I would like to have a body fat percentage goal now like 22%. I guess I should pay for a more accurate test? Where can you get one?
-
I took some measurements and lost quite a few inches. I am down to 27.25 inch waist from 31. But my tighs are still huge! Wish I had taken pictures. I will do some this weekend, great idea!
-
I did take some measurements but no pictures. I wish I had. Thank you! I have been in recomp basically for a few months...not on purpose. I just must tighten my login more if I want to lose those last few lbs. Or.maybe breastfeeding might make this process harder when you hit a healthy BMI. I would love to lose another…

I have been stuck at 150 for three months now. I was hoping to drop to 135 lbs, put it is proving to be difficult. I am in a size 8 in most clothes, and lifting, so my shape has improved. I would like to fit a size 6 comfortably or be around 22% fat. I am not sure where I am at I'm body fat at the moment.

Skinnytaste website has a lot of great recipes that are high in flavor and fit my calorie count for dinner. Especially if I like having a snack or dessert after dinner. I usually pair them with a salad or veggies, but there are suggestions there too. Check it out!

The stats are the same with exception of the activity level. In garmin it asked for a number and provided a chart. I picked a 5 out of 10. In MFP I set to sedentary. Great idea on a garmin group!! Thanks.
