214, 5ft5 - want to lose 70lbs ultimately, but would be happy with 50-60lbs

Thanks for all your replies :) I think now to start off with I will weigh each day just to learn how different things can make me fluctuate. I did pretty well today, netted 1340 calories, squeezed in 30 minutes of Wii U Advanced Aerobics (easing myself in gently)... Weighed before bed and I'm up 2lbs... But not fretting as…

My baby is 5 months.... You can add me as I'm new too!

I'd opt for a stool softener over a laxative. I had to live off Laxido when I was pregnant as I was so badly constipated. I ended up in hospital after taking so many laxatives I ended up having "overflow".... Which (sorry to be graphic) is diarrhoea which overflows around the blockage. Anyway Laxido really was brilliant. I…

You have no idea how much happier this makes me! I started my first day two days ago (same day as my monthly started). I logged every single calorie.... Even the splash of milk in my cup of tea! I stuck to 1350 calories (coming in at 1339).... The next morning I weighed 2lbs heavier! I'm guessing it was a mixture of my…

I really like this graph... That must be such a good visual aid! Is this an app? X

Thank you very much. My BMR according to MFP is 1679 calories..... Looks like I will have to find time to work out a lot or I'll be very miserable on just 1200 calories a day. I'm new to healthy eating so still trying to research meal ideas

Sorry I guess that'll teach me for not fully readingnyour post! Apologies

You need to sync the app. Go into the app.... Click "More"... Then right at the bottom is says "sync". Once you've done that it should update x

I should add I have a lot of weight to lose! Currently 5ft5, F, 27 & 215lbs

I was going to wear it all day initially as I thought it would help me understand how many calories I should be eating to lose 2lb per week. I though it would be more accurate than a generic equation to work it out seems as it would be taking my usual heart rate into consideration as well. I guess its not going to help me…

Hi there, I'm Sarah, 27 and from the UK. I have 80lbs to lose. I'm limited in how much time I can put into specific workouts seems as I have a 5 month old, so i'm looking for a diet coach really. I may be a bit of a challenge though as I fear I may have binge eating disorder. I don't use that term lightly: I suffered from…

Like I said, I maintained my weight loss for 5 years. I know myself better than anybody and I know what works for me. I know that when I'm slimmer I am more happy and confident, which in turn leads to positive change. I already know how to eat healthy, I just don't stick to it when I'm low in mood.

In all honesty it's because I know nothing about protein shakes. Slim-Fast seemed like the obvious choice because it's so widely known and available. I honestly wouldn't even know what to look for when it comes to protein shakes or where to buy them.

Everybody is different. We all have different buttons, different temperaments, and are all wired differently in a million ways. Physically, one diet may be better than another. A well balanced meal may well be better than a meal replacement shake.... But it's the mental aspect of how you cope with it or whether you can see…

Bottom line: This plan works for me for so many reasons. I am certain I would bore you all by going into the details about why it works for me and why I chose it. All I am asking for is if anyone else is ALREADY doing it, then add me as a friend. Maybe it was stupid of me to think that people would actually respect my…

Well now that would be stupid wouldn't it.... Because there always has to be that one person who can't help themselves but to go off topic regarding my post

Is something genuinely funny or are you trying to troll?
