Thanks, that's useful information. Luckily it was just one of those apple roses, made with apples, cinnamon, and honey, so not the most threatening thing I have been faced with

Yesterday someone gave me a pastry that they made themselves and I couldn't say no to something that looked so delicious. I just try and over-estimate how many calories things like this have in them to hopefully make up for it.

That Starbucks mocha frap looks amazing, sounds like something I would like. I decided against getting the unicorn one when that was out. What about the dragon one? Has anyone tried that?

Hahaha, thank you! Me too, waaaay too much. I just found mine in the candy section of my grocery store. I meant to just walk on by but I just HAD to glance over... and there they were. I could not resist.

Mixing a bit of milk, orange juice, and vanilla extract in a cup and drinking it. Kind of reminds me of a dreamsicle.

The new (at least I think they're new) tropical sour patch kids are delicious!! Luckily I had someone to share the pack with. And the cinnamon bun oreos are also really, really good. Oreos on their own have always been just ok to me, but they magically seem to transform into something delicious when dunked into milk. The…

That was done in just one month?! That is incredible. Congratulations!!!

I've never made sweet potato brownies, but I love black bean brownies. Sweet potato is delicious, though, so maybe I should give that a try.

I would love to lose 10 pounds by June 1, like some other folks. I am going to Universal Studios at the end of June and they are opening up a new water park. I want to be comfortable enough to get into my bathing suit!

Do you like eggs at all? You can make pretty healthy omelettes in the morning. Throw in some spinach, mushrooms, etc. They're pretty good! I love to dip some toast into sunny side up eggs as well.

You click the search icon next to the page numbers and then click the dropdown list. From there you can type your username into the "author" box and the very last page will have your first post on it! ETA: You seem to have made more posts than me, so I couldn't find yours on the last page by doing that. Instead I typed in…

Looks like I found my first post. March 27, 2015 on page 246. I was still in school back then!

*Gets a post in on page 1700* HA!

I've used honey when I didn't have sugar... it still worked. I've also made pizza dough with all purpose flour several times  I just did a couple of nights ago... was delicious!

I'm not the biggest fan of oreos unless they've been dipped in milk. Zero to hero in one little dunk. Also I prefer the cookie more than the cream, so I stay away from double stuf. I like the birthday cake ones a lot!!

I'd like to thank you all for your support. Not just for me, but this community touches me because everyone is so kind and supportive of eachother. @KylerJaye I love your dating stories. I have never really dated before and feel like I'd be terribly awkward at it since I have high social anxiety. People have already said…

Your wish is my command! Maybe I should go on another break so that perfectly equal 1,000 can remain up there  Can't believe I'm headed into the thousands. When I was a member on another message board a few years back I remember getting up to like 17,000 posts in a couple of years. Pure craziness.... how did I ever…

I adore fish and seafood of all kinds. Well... I've yet to try sea urchin and some other sea creatures, but I love octopus and eel and oysters (things a lot of other people find disgusting for some reason). Also I know I haven't really been in here for a while. I haven't been "feeling it." I guess I've been feeling down.…

Yes! I admit I have never been a big fan of Matthew Mcconaughey, mostly because I always want to yell at him to CLOSE HIS MOUTH (I ruined him for my mom and boyfriend after making them notice this)... but he is an amazing actor and is definitely growing on me. I love him in True Detective so far.

I can see why you would find it boring. Wayward Pines might indeed be more your thing  I am watching the first season... I heard that the second season is much worse so I probably won't be bothering with it. I'm curious... have you seen Mad Men and if so did you like it?
-
Maybe we just have different tastes  I liked Wayward Pines for a while and thought it had interesting ideas.... but I didn't particularly like any of the characters and the ending was by far the worst part. I think more than anything I was dissatisfied  Plenty of people do love the show, though. If you…

Thanks all for your kind words. It's frustrating because even if I KNOW I'm not the cause of someone's anger, I am not fully able to convince myself. Just like with any anxiety I suppose  I just finished watching it with my boyfriend and we both agreed that it was a huge letdown. I especially hated the ending. You…

Yesterday I was trying to buy a pass for the metro (subway) and the machine wasn't working, so I told the guy at the booth and he snapped at me and told me that I had messed up and to try it again. I thanked him and he sighed in this irritated way. I don't know why I allow that stuff to bring me down so much. It's such a…

Welcome back @FroggyBug and @jthurman3!! @peleroja I hope you have a great time on your trip and I wish you had one more ticket that I could take  I'm sorry you feel so crappy today :( Sometimes this happens to me- I just break down and get into a fetal position without really knowing why. I hope you feel better…

Thanks guys  My siblings and I have said that even if our time spent with our dad was cut short, we were lucky to have had such a strong father. Towards the end of his life he couldn't even move his hands and my stepdad said he thought my dad held on as long as he did so he could see us all grow up. I miss him…

My parents separated when I was pretty young and I remember not being too upset about it. My father had MS and my mother had to help lift him into bed, get him dressed, help him to the toilet, etc. Finally it became too much for her to handle and he moved out into his own apartment where a nurse could look after him. I saw…

Once when I was in middle school (I think), I took the bus home having to pee really really bad. My mom was always working past the time I got home from school, and my brother's bus arrived home before mine. I got there and the key wasn't in its hiding spot- my brother must have left it inside. I pounded on the door and…

Thanks for this! I think I really need to open my mind up more to the idea and just go for it. One good experience should make it easier to go the next time, and so on. EDIT: Now I need to try some Savannah Smiles!

I've been meaning to get started on squatting and stuff  I know people stress that having good form is EXTREMELY important, and it's probably easy to mess up... maybe whenever my brother's around he can show me what to do. I think I like the Lindt truffles, if they are what I think they are  I don't like candy…

Yeah it's definitely a problem with me. I have pretty bad anxiety and am always thinking that people on the street are judging me, even if I know it's not the case. I got some grapefruit yesterday after not having it in forever and this stuff is sooooo good.
