avocado on toast topped with sunny side up egg...or sauteed mushrooms on toast topped with egg...basically something + toast + runny egg is super good. Or substitute the toast for quinoa / polenta etc. also delicious

The idea of 'perfection' is why so many people fail at this, they try to go at 100% until they slip up or some event causes them to go over their calories or miss a workout and boom they just say '*kitten* it" Life happens, I've had 1000 times where I've gone over calories, or missed a workout or didn't hit my macros, but…

you were probably just eating at maintenance or even still at a very slight deficit. you don't gain weight the minute you go over your calories (especially if the calories you are over are at a deficit) , weight loss and weight gain is not that black and white

i started out with about that to lose- i only have 40 pounds left now. It's embarrassing in the beginning but next thing you know, it's not. Just do it, just start walking. Throw on some headphones and you won't even notice the people around you.

I definitely would not have said something- it doesn't even work when I talk to people I know who ASK me for advice, I wouldn't say it to a stranger

pavlova's topped with fruit / grilled peaches with ricotta, drizzled honey and crushed pistachios / sorbet with fresh fruit / pears poached in wine with lighter ice cream / lighter ice cream sandwiches.

so i have done that in the past, and what i learned is...it's not a great idea! I have some dresses that fit me now, but they don't look good! Just because you're at the size, doesn't mean everything fits the same, will look good, etc.

whenever i dont want to workout, I'll at least force myself to put on my gym clothes. Once they're on, I go, I have yet to not go to the gym when I'm already dressed for it : )

I've lost 85 pounds so far, I have 40-50 left. Honestly, yes, it sucks, I can see that my stomach just isn't going to be great, but, in the grand scheme of things, it's not a big deal (and other parts of me have tightened up!). I look so much better than I did before in general, am so much more fit, healthy, etc. A little…

spinning is my favorite besides running, especially with a good instructor and weights.

i average about 180-230...but then I also usually have a snack like less than hour later so...

I don't look at it as 'cheat days' anymore, more like, living life. Some days I eat at my calorie goal, some days over, and some days under. At the end of the week, I'm usually right where I should be.

i thought i was the only one who didn't understand the quest bar hype. I have definitely finished food even if i didnt like it for it's nutritional value, but would not buy again.

Halibut or cod, I pan sear in truffle oil and finish with a little lemon. Salmon, I do two ways- either maple syrup and teriyaki or a dry rub with brown sugar, the sugar caramelizes and it's sooo good.

When I first started working out I was 265 and almost everything was hard...I basically just walked outside, walked on the treadmill and did the elliptical, sometimes very simple yoga as well. I progressed in going faster and longer during those workouts, and then after about 4 and a half months and some weight loss, then…

I definitely have this issue- when I was bigger, I wouldn't care about what I wore as long as it 'fit' and just ignored myself because I was big overall, the closer I get to my goal, the more I notice parts of me that I dislike, since me as a whole isn't that bad now. It's hard, but I look at the plus side, the positives…

I can't wait to feel, be and look fit, to like the way i look in pictures, and of course naked haha

I've lost 80 pounds, have another 40 to my goal weight...I will definitely have extra skin, but I'd rather be thin and fit and so much healthier but with extra skin than where i was months ago.

If it per-packaged fresh food, or says "about" next to the serving, I weigh it. I won't weigh like a granola bar though

Depending if I'm hungry, I'll eat 50% or so back, sometimes I eat them all back, especially if it's a weekend

If you are able, a good trainer (look for a lifter), even for a few sessions, will be able to help you so much- I've been steadily progressing adding weight to my bench and back squat (just started deadlifting so that n/a) for the past three months and although I'm always working on my form, it's so much better than had I…

I don't really ever have the chance to just sit on the couch, so I typically still get 10,000 steps on rest days (although over july 4th weekend, I had a day where I got 7k which was a score because I really was relaxing :) )

Buying in bulk and the freezer is awesome. When fish is on sale, I stock up and freeze it, I'll freeze certain veggies, etc. I also keep a ton of healthy grains on hand that I buy in bulk (quinoa, brown rice, farro, etc) And I buy fruits / veggies according to whats on sale

go hiking!

The only foods I have actively removed from my diet are sodas /sweetened beverages. I only drink water now, occasional coffee from starbucks (maybe once every two weeks) and adults beverages on weekends. But monday - friday, it's all water, all the time.
