Two weeks without any alcohol and I feel much better than I did in December. My complexion is fabulous! I have more energy. I'm liking this.

MFP is consistent and the science doesn't change. It's free. I don't pay for a proprietary calorie counting system that will probably change in one or two years and leave me frustrated because I cannot do what was working for me anymore, which has happened to me twice with WW.

I think OSW ( original starting weight) refers to when people started MFP or perhaps even before then. I personally don’t put my OSW in my heading.

Weekend get-togethers with foodie friends always include wine and food. I don't plan to socialize much in January because I want to drop some December weight (and save money). I was very "festive".

If it re-sets you psychologically, go for it. A calorie is a calorie, and Pressed Juicery is over 1200 calories a day. I'm not drinking this month either. The last drink I had was a champagne toast at midnight on NYE. I love a glass or two of red wine and listening to music while I'm preparing dinner, and that's when I miss it most. And next year, I want to wake-up January 1st without a hangover.

I did the Lagree method at a studio for 8 months. It was a little intimidating for me and I always felt like I couldn't keep up. Maybe I should try mat pilates instead.

@leonadixon, I'm on month 3 and my migraines have become infrequent and very mild. I only have to reach for my rescue medication (Maxalt aka rizitropan) several times a month which is a huge reduction for me. I was getting 3 per week.
