I like them. I rinse them well and stir them around in a hot Teflon pan to dry them out before using them. It eliminates the smell and gives them better texture.

It sounds like a sensible exercise program while losing (fat) weight is the way to go first, and that recomposition is the step after that. So there's hope! I knew I posted at the right place. I appreciate all your advice!

I like BOD and there's no need for shakes or food containers. I think MFP is very compatible with the plans and I focus on CICO instead of their "clean eating" messaging. Consistency is key, which is what I suck at.

I feel the same way. If I have black coffee in the morning and wait until 11 for lunch, I end up eating less calories than if I had both meals and I am so much more satisfied. I'm 54 and munching after 7 pm isn't smart for me anyway, so I like 16/8 very much.

My parents are elderly and my mom is 92 with COPD. Those are the thoughts that haunt me and bring me down. I've started using the Happy Scale app and I like it because it shows weight trends with the ups and downs.
