Being alone and not having anyone want to be close to you. I got divorced a long time ago and have been trying to lose weight, but haven't had a date since. I am clean, try to look decent when I leave the house but people look like they're going to puke when they look at me. I'm so lonely. I have no friends or partner. :(

Eh, I eat up to 400 to 500 grams of carbs a day and am losing weight. Carbs aren't evil. Carbs coming whole plant foods are freaking amazing. I could not live without my carbs. :smiley:

Potatoes, rice, lentils, beans of all kinds, tons of veggies and greens, granny smith apples, bananas, various other fruit, strawberries, dates, various sauces (or stuff to make sauces), oats and sourdough bread.

I'm horrible to myself, always have been. I say things to myself I wouldn't say to my worst enemy. :( I might be thin one day, but I'll never be pretty... it's just not going to happen.

Try things prepared in a different way. For me, it was oatmeal. HATE the stuff... but all my life it was always hot oatmeal. Smells and tastes like a big bowl of hot vomit no matter what I put into it. Then someone told me about overnight oats. Made them and now I LOVE oatmeal, just cold and uncooked. :P If you try things…

Vegetable: broccoli and cabbage. Fruit: Ataulfo mango with lime... when they're in season I indulge and eat about 10 in a sitting a few times. I just can't help it, they are divine. I also love bing cherries and pineapple, granny smith apples and cherimoya.

I take my apples and bananas (it's especially good with bananas) and just dip them right into the powder, I don't bother to make it into actual pb. lol.

Totally agree. I picked one up a while back to try. I'm not vegan/vegetarian or even lactose intolerant, but I always like to try new items.... it was vile! I spit it right back into the cup. :s
