I'm trying to reduce my meat intake, so right now I'm trying to eat vegetarian/vegan 80% percent of the time. Would love some mfp-friends around for support and recipe inspiration, feel free to add me if you like!

Hi there! Welcome and congratulations on your progress so far! I'm a 20yo girl from Holland, at the moment mainly trying to maintain my weight and exercise more. Feel free to message me or add me as a friend, I'd be happy to help to motivate you!

Hi there! I've recently returned to mfp after a couple months of, and I'm all set to start tracking again! What are your goals?

Add me too if you like! (and others as well) Lost about 10 kg (22lbs), was on my goal weight , but I've slowly been gaining back +-5kgs (10lbs) over the past few months, so time to get back on track, I think that mutual motivation is key :)

Okay thanks so far! Can you explain why I need a deficit if I'm not trying to lose weight? Just trying to understand :) Will a mix of cardio and strength training suffice (this is what i generally do now)? How much strength/resistance training would you recommend?

Thanks for your responses! But how did you know when you'd hit the maintenance intake? How do you determine that?

Into the woods! Can't go wrong with Meryl Streep. If you could only eat one food for the rest of your life, what would it be?

I hope that this occurs only once a month, not all the time? Anyway, I don't think this is particularly worrying; exercise can actually speed up the arrival of your period - that is, if it is already pending. I think it has something to do with your heart rate increasing and pumping your blood around or something, not sure…

I did it for a month or so in the beginning of this year, but then I quit... decided to start again today, so just finished my first session! :) My plan for now is to exercise around 3 times a week, using JM's shred or something else like a bodyfit class or so. Not so much to lose weight, just to tone up a bit :)

Congrats! :)
