I think (not sure) you can set your macros individually by grams, instead of getting a pre-set amount of calories by MFP without being able to modify the grams of macros you want...(we can modify the % of macros, until we find the grams we want but even like that it's inaccurate) and I think you can also vary the amounts…

I've started eating clean food and exercising daily and just a few days ago and...it the feeling is more gratifying than all the ice cream in the world...I had no idea before this. Try it one day at a time I am sure you can do it and you'll feel great

I think this is a delicate matter and should be discussed with a dietician/nutritionist/personal doctor. If you want to jump on a diet, jump on the healthy eating wagon coupled up with exercise. There are no miracles in this regard, unfortunately. :/
