Set a goal for my 22nd wedding anniversay on Nov 1....I’m almost there! I love looking at before and after pics!

I set a weight goal to be X amount by my 22nd Wedding Anniversay on Nov 1, Even though that’s not my final goal weight. I think I’m going to be about a pound or two off but I’m still going to feel and look great😜 Im hoping to be goal weight for Christmas Day! I think having target goals help me but as my son always says,…

Thank you!!! My oldest son turns 21 on Sunday 👀 This made me smile. Yay. Attached pic I plan on embarrassing him on Sunday with:)
-
It has me 93# at least I wouldn’t have to worry about what I need to look like on Halloween. That’s crazy!
-
Thank you. It’s a thrift store find:)

I’m not knowledgeable enough so all I would add is ask to be put on the waiting list if they have any cancellations. Feel better soon.

I don’t think he weighed his carbs!

Sherman isn’t amused either. Ashely and him might just hit it off. He’s like mom really? Just let me hide in dad’s jungle.

We lost our beagle in March. I just love this pic! . Truman has kept me busy and increased my calorie deficit! Therefore he must be the reason for my weight loss and not because I track my sugary carb desserts😜
-
Truman wants to go on a hike with Atlas

With 3 of 5 birthdays in August I was still able to lose 3.5# and oh here’s my contribution and my garden if that gives me bonus points 🤓. I’ve been reading this thread and it just makes me laugh! Thanks

@CarvedTones you’re correct! I’m also positive for the gene.

In the beginning my PCM didn’t do a C- Reactive protein test. I didn’t get one to I actually got into a rheumatologist and my level was 136! Be sure to ask your doctor about this. It was so frustrating I was in so much pain. Good luck!!!!
-
@singingflutelady I’m sorry. I had a reaction for about 6 months. It’s awful. I’ve been on his since spring 2014. I hope you are able to return to stomach injections soon. And I hope you’ve have a supportive rheumatologist!
-
Always ask your dr but I was advised to let it sit on the counter for about 15 mins before. And stomach injections hurt way less than thigh. Sounds weird but I promise. And the itchy site reaction does stop. I’m assuming you haven’t been on it long.

I agree we all respond differently. I can honestly say humira saved my life. I took methotrexate and I lost my voice for 6 weeks. I think my husband was happy 😂
-
I’ve done this twice before using mfp. I’m not saying this is for everyone but this is what I’m doing differently. 1. health is more important than a number. 2. I actually already set a weekly reminder to weigh and it says if weigh more than X amount eat less this week. (I’m about 10# from goal weight) 3. I’m not…

What a great post. Thank you for taking the time. Most def will read several times. I’m 40 and was diagnosed in 2014 and after needing a Thoracentesis I had no options left. My rheumatologist and pcm have worked so well together. I’ve been trying to eat more Whole Foods and researching more. Would love a hands on book with…

I have AS and on humira. I try to do my best to walk. Walking helps a lot. Yes cold weather makes it worse but honest try to move when you can!

I spend calories for guacamole:) it’s worth it to me! Egg beaters, 100 calorie guac, and serving of smoked turkey breast we make! Such a filling breakfast. Skip Cheese on sandwiches or in a salad. I can’t taste it really so it saves 100.

50 pounds lost, maintaining since September 2015, started Dec 2014

I've posted on this thread before but wanted to share that I've been for maintaining several months. I think I will always log in and do a daily weight check. Some weeks I don't log but check my weight. I logged everyday during my weight loss which took 10 months. The breaks from logging has helped me say focus because I'm…

I have an autoimmune disease and before my insurance approved humira I was on high doses for 8 months! Omg my moon face was horrid. Just try to watch your portions, move more if you can. Hope you feel better soon!

Me too!!!!

Omg! This is so true in our case too. Married almost 19 years in a few weeks Last night he was making us beef brocollie fried rice! Yummy, but I was washing and cleaning as he cooked. That way I wouldn't have every pot in the house to wash after dinner! I guess a trade off for delicious fried rice!
