I pre-logged my day yesterday and today. Intermittent fasting - no food until 12:00 and keep under 800 calories. I know it's low but I make up for it during the rest of the week. Pre-logging helps me stay away from snacks

My Garmin measures my VO2 (lung capacity) it says it is 45 which is excellent, top 15% for my age and the fitness of a 20 year old. ;-)

I do a 5:2 variant. 16 hours fasting then 800-1000 calories max for 1 day eaten in an 8 hour window - twice a week. Try to stay within MFP cals the other 5 days. I find this can help jumpstart weight loss but i try not to get too worried how the calories are made up

Well done on starting. Sorry to hear about UC. I've had Crohns originally diagnosed as UC for 30 years with lots of flares and remission.
