Kitn, thank you for sharing because of the risk of triggering old hurts and the cost is great. So thank you, it takes courage. But you never know who your going to help with your personal story. I agree with those who said there are a lot of strong women here and it is a good place to share and get advice.

@May, Thank you for the tour of your garden. I enjoyed it very much! One other thing I appreciate about you is your willingness to try different things in your w.o.e. in an effort to help all of us. You my dear are a scientist at heart.

O.P., I get your frustration as I made change after change at first too. It wasn't till I stopped weighing myself and only relied on measurements that my mind was free from obsessing. And now the inches are coming down.

I was able to change my calorie goal by choosing custom.

I recently discovered carb master yogurt that only has 4g carb and it is very good.

I sure do hope you get that me time as well. Sooner the better. Good luck with your business endeavors!

Shai74, be true to yourself. Even if you are thin and even gorgeous it's still not enough for some. Thin beautiful women get wronged every day. Imagine how it must feel to bust your butt to look that way only to have your partner looking over your shoulder for the next best deal to come along? Treat yourself right. Never…

People don't tether themselves to others that easily so quickly and if they do you should probably run anyway lol. Keep pursuing what is good and healthy for you!

PasPlus, at one time I was convinced I could only eat certain foods since my stomach cramped up or hurt otherwise. Everyday I thought it hurts to be hungry but it hurts to eat too. Imagine how paralyzing that was. When my friends and family saw how thin I was getting they took me to the doctor for a full gui (If I remember…

I love tv and knitting such a wonderful combination! I think I am in ketosis finally because I simply am not hungry and it makes things so much easier. My macro is 5% carb, 75% fat, 20% protein. I have found this doable for me anyway.

I tried lclf and for me it gave me the shakes and irritability like hypoglycemia maybe? I went back to lchf and feel much better like it's more sustainable for me and thats a good thing. Also I am losing inches again.

Thank you for the welcome Granny and everyone else. I tend to lurk more then post but I did update my profile so you can all know me a little better. The profile pic I think is a Thomas Kincade wallpaper. I do so love his work!
-
Hoping the best for you, and maybe since you already have been in keto before it won't be so bad.
-
I love silk ribbon embroidery! The texture and all. I even tried it once or twice so I can respect the craft. Beautiful work!

Thank you for posting this. I am in the same situation so I especially appreciate your update and solution. I,m sure many other ladies do as well. I sure am glad there is this group!

I'm new too the group and thank you ladies for posting the articles and things that answer a lot of my confusion about why it's so hard to lose at this phase of life.

Not possible for me I'm afraid I would have to eat it. :)

I would suggest the op get advice from a nutritionist and I'm pretty sure they won't suggest ice cream cookies and bagels pre workout.
-
Thanks for the inspiration!

Thanks for the encouragement op. I know a lot of frustrated ladies can use it!

Most body wraps involve a moisturizing treatment as this enhances the skins appearance. Hopefully professionals won't be using PrepH, :P Moist or dry heat may be applied as well as massage. It probably isn't a good idea for pregnant women or anyone with high blood pressure since it is designed to increase circulation to…

Body wraps have been around for a long time actually. They are temporary in nature as it is mostly a matter of water. But it does help push moisturizers or whatever treatment deeper into the skin. They are helpful for a special upcoming event.

A little broth helps me when I feel ill. Hope you feel better soon!

I don't like to get bored either. It helps me to have a few 'go to' meals that I really like and don't seem to tire of as often, like a chicken caesar salad, tuna or egg salad. I keep plenty of romaine lettuce (my fav) on hand for that and wraps. The thing is to have on hand a few things you really enjoy for when you…

I hope you got the job anyway despite how you felt. :)

The first few days of lchf was fine for me until the 'flu' kicked in. But I heard of it and so wasn't surprised by it. as mentioned above broth was a a great way to deal with it as well as letting my body rest as it needed. Three weeks later I have my mojo back and feel so good I am not even as concerned with weight loss…

I'm about two weeks in since I started and had the keto flu for about a week and a half of that. It was brutal but I'm glad I stuck it through. Yesterday was the first day much like the O.P.'s that I felt great! I felt years younger and accomplished good things all day. :) So far today it remains great. I am even going to…

Thanks Knitormiss, I thought that sneaky sugar might be a possibility in pizza sauce so I'll do it only when desperate for pizza haha.

I made a simple egg flower soup with the left over carcass of a baked chicken the other night that I really enjoyed. Except hubby ate most of the egg that I had tediously dribbled into it with a fork so that I got mostly soup. But with the asian spices it was still very tasty!
