I'm needing this! Name: RideLiftRun How long in maintenance: 4-5 years Goal maintenance range: 56-57kg Current weight: 58kg Current goal: To lose that last pesky kg to my happy weight! Which seems pretty darm impossible just now. Recent success: Deadlifted my bodyweight again last week, having re-started lifting towards…

I'll send you a friend request... I've never been active on MFP, but having yoyoed quite a bit with my weight since the original loss, I've now figured that while I know how to lose weight, I'm not very good at all at maintenance. So trying a new approach of being more active in here to help me figure it out! Thanks for…

I'm so glad I found this thread. I hit my scream weight, too, last year.... had several injuries during the year leading up to that which meant my usually very active exercise regime was less active and certainly less consistent, and I most definitely had tantrums over eating appropriately - just refused to lower calories…
I'm finnish, we have no personal doctors.
I'm also Finnish. You may not have a "personal doctor", as in the same doctor that always sees you, but you are very lucky to have access to a doctor, and generally an extremely high standard of health care, free of charge. So please take advantage of it, and speak…

You look great, well done! I love how much more confident you look

Great advice above already, just quickly adding that I had a quick peek at your diary and it looks like you're not eating back many/any of your exercise calories. I know the burns MFP estimates for exercise tends to be too high and caution is wise, but maybe try eating half of your exercise calories back and see if that…

OK there are plenty more experienced people than me in here and hopefully one of them will be round shortly to offer you more advice, but in the meanwhile... I've had a quick look at your diary and second what @RAinWA said - logging seems a bit random, and at times seems to use measurements/estimations rather than weight…

Random people on the internet can't make a diagnosis, only your doctor can do that. If you're worried that you might have bowel or colon inflammation, please go and see your doctor. As to lack of weight loss - you've not provided all that much information so it's hard for people in here to offer you advice. How tight is…

Wow - what a transformation! You're an inspiration, and you look great - well done!

You were beautiful before, and you're beautiful now. Massive well done on losing over 100lbs - wow!! Amazing transformation.

I'm UK based, motivated but easily led 40 something (40 too many somethings more like) too. Not my first time here either! I'll send you a request. Love your profile pic & user name!! :D

Wow, you look great and awesome progress!

I tend to plan and pre log all meals for the day, adjusting when necessary, but I mainly do it to ensure I'll stay within my allocated calories. Protein is the only macro I really care for & make sure I'm close to target. I don't sweat the small stuff, I'm quite often over in fat and almost always over in sugar - I don't…

Amazing story, thanks for sharing. The mountains near my neck of the woods are baby mountains compared to yours, and even so every year a number of people get killed - not enough gear, not enough experience and winter climbing skills, not enough respect for the mountains and how quick the weather conditions can change.…

You made a start, so well done you. There is a wealth of information in this forum - so read the stickies, and look at the Success stories section too, I've found it hugely inspirational. You can do this.

I second yogurt (my current fave is Alpro Plain with Coconut - vegan friendly :-) with fruit berries and a small amount of seeds and nuts. Oatmeal, definitely. Can always add some berries to top that too. Wholemeal toast with avocado/hummus/whatever spread type thing you like. Hummus with veg crudites Pita bread stuffed…

Thanks! I've just googled it and it sounds amazing... think I'll order the book.

Does anyone have a recipe, or a link to a good one please?

Another long term lacto ovo vegetarian here. Eggs and yogurt are my friends, also cottage cheese, lots of legumes, tofu, seeds and nuts and such like, it all adds up. I do use whey to make up a shortage if I need to, but prefer food sources when it's possible.

OK thanks everyone, I'll bide my time. I know I haven't lost that amount of fat, I wouldn't be worried if I had LOL. I've had water weight fluctuations before, but usually always up the way rather than down... so I guess I freaked out a bit seeing a sudden drop. I'll get a hang of this again.
