  • Baked cheese, protein bars, beef jerky (or you can bake salami or pepperoni in the oven at home until they are hard meat chips - lol).
  • Age, genetics, lean muscle mass, and sheer amount of total weight you will lose (or have lost) all play a part in this. Collagen Hydrolysate will help a little as will weight training to build muscle. If you are young, your body and skin tend to bounce back more quickly and be more forgiving of weight gain / weight…
  • I like and use the SDC Nutrition About Time Whey Protein Isolate Powder. I like them because they contain no soy, but they are only lightly sweetened with stevia so their flavors don't "kick you in the mouth" the way a lot of other protein powders do. The carb count on About Time is great too (less than 1 carb per scoop).…
  • Congratulations...this is so friggin' awesome!!
  • Prior to going full on Keto, I NEVER had good cholesterol numbers in my entire life. Now, mind you, even with going Keto, it took my body FOUR (4) YEARS to finally get there (I eliminated a huge amount of weight - 167 pounds (basically another person) - and it takes the body a LOT of time to get rid of all the excess…

  • I find that increasing carbs of any kind despite the source increases flatulence for me. :s If that isn't motivation to stay low carb then I don't know what is!! ;)
  • Or just buy pre-cooked bacon, scan the barcode and the package and eliminate the headache where logging this is concerned.
  • The last several months I've been doing various nuts for lunch with sugar-free jello and my first bouillon cube of the day with added protein (collagen hydrolysate)...at least during the work week.
  • Or plain Whole Milk Quark is an acceptable alternative at 5g carbs packing a whopping 14g protein. Although they do offer favored versions which are much higher in carb content, the plain Quark is also really simple easy to flavor.
  • OR you can buy pre-cooked bacon and scan the barcode and go with that minus the headaches about how to properly log!
  • Full fat dairy products including butter among others are terrific sources of Vitamin K (potassium) which can be somewhat difficult to get enough of from non-dairy sources (unless you are fond of Natto which I understand is very much an acquired taste).
  • Well that's a total bummer @RalfLott! Sorry to hear this! Any Sprouts in your area? If not, maybe try buying bulk online like at https://nuts.com/ ...?
