I believe my diary is open to the public.

No unless you drink the whole darn bottle (soy sauce is high in carbs) so a little bit of soy sauce (a few tablespoons maybe?) would be fine.

Take measurements. Often when the scale isn't moving, you will show losses in the measurements.

No problem. You are welcome!

You would basically reduce your carbs, eat a good amount of healthy fat and a moderate amount of protein. If you are trying to follow a Keto Way of Eating (WOE) then you would eliminate or greatly reduce things like sugar, grains (wheat, corn, oats, rice flours make from any grains), bread, chips, tortillas, pasta, starchy…

I know there is a sourdough version of "Soul Bread" floating around out there somewhere on the internet.

It's both genetics and nutrients. Prior to going Keto, I had a few noticeable patches of gray (I had been getting a few gray hairs starting in my early 30's). After going keto, and after transitioning to maintenance where I am now (macros % for protein jumped to 25% for me), 70-80% of my gray hair has receded. For me it…

Ditto that @swezeytba ...I had a very rude and unpleasant awakening this past Thanksgiving where I learned the same goes for me!

Unfortunately, no. Some people's body's give off the acetone scent via breath/sweat/pee, etc. while others don't. I'm one of the lucky ones in that while I'm usually in nutritional ketosis 98% of the time, my body doesn't give off the unpleasant smells sometimes associated with this way of eating.

Chia seeds. Sancha Inchi (a type of seed from South America). Sweet Apricot Kernels. Coconut flakes/flour. Psyllium powder or husks. Lupin flour. Avocado mentioned above.

Individual packets of nut butter (you can carry them in your car or purse), individually wrapped high % cacao dark chocolate, baked cheese crisps (think chips/crackers).

Welcome back and congrats!

I strongly suggest you aim for 50g carbs total or less per day and stick to that for at least 30 days straight. I used to be pre-diabetic myself. Am off all meds. My mother IS Type 2 Diabetic and I dragged her along with me on this way of eating. She is also now off ALL Diabetic meds. As for meal ideas, check out the…

Yeppers, I totally concur with what @KnitOrMiss said above ^^^^! We are all different. For example, my mother needs a lot of fiber because of a medical condition - Diverticulitis / Diverticulosis (I always forget which one she has - ironically caused by eating too much fiber in the first place!!!!), whereas I don't. My…

@canadjineh ...thanks for the link. Appreciate it!! <3

@cedarsidefarm ...that's pretty neat that you are an organic farmer! You may also want to check out Baja Gold Salt (trust me on this one). Here's the link for you: http://shop.seaagri.com/Fertilizer-and-Livestock-Mineral-Products_c2.htm It's a wonderful all around salt but it also yields wonderful benefits for farmers that…

If you're asking about fiber for gut health in connection with bowel movements, it's not needed. The additional healthy fat from following a LCHF way of eating (WOE) naturally lubricates that process. Here's a link to a 48 minute podcast where the discuss that particular issue partway through the podcast (sorry, I don't…

Most meat has almost no carbs, eggs to (I think it's technically something like 0.5 - 0.7g carb per egg). My point is, meeting protein is not difficult if you just eat some meat. Put butter on it or melted cheese.
-
No problem, You are welcome. It was actually @KnitOrMiss that turned me on to it!

Nuts contain sugar naturally. There are companies out there that do make nut butters with no added sugar BUT the nut butter is still going to contain some sugar contained in the ground nuts. Barney Butter, the "Bare" almond butter (they have a couple of different kinds) contains no added sugar.

No problem. You're welcome. Fat bombs can be deadly in a good way (heh).
