Please don't listen to the people that say don't eat! That's been long debunked. Don't eat, ya right - better to faint from lack of carbs or catabolize some muscle..??!! Not. Listen to your body and eat whatever you need to meet your macros. Good 'snacks' I go for are cheerios and skim milk, cottage cheese, fruit, popcorn…

I'm with ya, straight brown rice tastes like *kitten*. I recently bought sprouted brown & wild rice, and it's actually pretty good ;;)

Whatever you decide OP, read the reviews. One thing to consider about the watch style HRM is you have to crank them on your wrist. They drop doing pushups and any exercise that restricts blood flow. I don't like having the watch tight, it's restrictive, annoying, and I periodically spin it around to see the display,…

The treadmill I use connects to my HRM strap automatically. But even when I enter my weight and age, its ~2/3 the calories my HRM claims. Also, the BPM fluctuates greatly. I wouldn't put too much faith in it.

No thanks.

Nope. Get a chest strap, you won't even know you're wearing it.
-
Stretch them and like stated above, foam roller.

Without a HR monitor, you'll have to go by the calc. 5% is a decent incline. 1-2 is similar to a flat road. I'd get bored running for an hour straight and it can also be hard on your knees and hips, especially if you're overweight. I usually run a mile then do something else, run a mile then do something else...

Limit bad fats and refined sugars and you should find that cravings decrease. I sure do, like clockwork. That stuff is poison.

lol. You're on the right track. Those GG cookies are hard to stop once you start haha

One thing to note if you're a Chamomile tea drinker like many of you are. For me, it acts like a diuretic. If I have one before bed, I'm up several times. http://www.livestrong.com/article/529139-can-chamomile-tea-work-as-a-diuretic/

There's water in lots of things. If you're drinking 4 cups of coffee for breakfast, 2 teas for lunch, a pop for coffee break, and a beer after work, that all counts towards your water intake. Don't overdo water, listen to your body. If you're peeing more frequently than you think you should, you might consider seeing your…

It all counts. Beer, wine, coffee and tea. There's been numerous studies done. Google it.

I try and space major intake every 4 hours, casein before bed. Follow your nose... if you're clearing rooms or having fun in elevators, your either not blending your protein well enough or you're taking too much. That's my rule of bum. err, thumb.

Mine varies with the amount of exercise I enter

You need POTASSIUM, lots. 5100mg

OK, so then if your goals are set to maintain your current weight, then perfect, you have a good balance on your diet profile. However, if your goals are set to lose say 2 lbs a week at an intake of such and such calories, and your not, then something needs tweaking. Most likely on 'normal daily activities'. * oh, and this…
-
So, if you didn't work out at all and maintained your same daily calorie intake, do you gain? It's possible that your daily intake is higher than your body normally burns in a day. ??
-
Careful not to burn yourself out! and make sure you're getting enough supplements. For me, this depends on many things but to sum it up and keep things real, I don't let myself lose over three pounds per week. You have to be healthy and happy or risk failing. I like to have the energy for a good workout, and I find if I'm…

You're definitely on the top of my list :)

You said accurate calorie burn, so you should be looking at something with a chest strap. FT7 is an excellent choice. I still use and love my old F6, but looks like the FT7 is its replacement. Fitbits are a motivational gimmick... in my opinion

I just keep manually restetting mine to 4700, not like I ever hit it

Try cod. I usually curry or dill weed/lemon juice lightly poached. Cottage cheese or sweet potato and peas is a nice side. Healthy and fast. I can never buy salmon or trout, have to catch fresh! Sockeye is OK frozen, but not trout :p sockeye, spring, or coho are best, imo. Steelhead and rainbow trout are nice. I wouldn't…

Thank you!

They miraculously re-appeared, but yesterday is still messed up. This message is coming up from the site... "Site Temporarily Down For Maintenance Sorry, but the site is temporarily down for maintenance. We should be back up shortly. Please try again in a few minutes."

Side crunches on a swiss ball

Try skipping

You could be building muscle countering any fat losses

I'm not sold on it. I don't agree with some of his ideas and personally think he's a meathead. I quite like P90x

+1 on the Polar. I've used an F6 for many years. Get an actual HR monitor if you're at all serious. The chest straps are more accurate then just the watch style.
