Thanks folks i was pretty well impressed with myself.....i have to confess though i have run before, done the marathon distance and numerous halfs but that was 30 odd years ago so I think I think the old me done not to bad.....race days great its still the same atmoshere and all the people are just so nice and friendly…

Hi don't know how that happened with my previous post so apologies...... Anyway completed the 5k Resolution Run this morning and have the medal managed it in 29 mins 14 second I checked my splits to see my first km was slow at 9 min 30 seconds so I know I can knock a couple of mins off......really happy with my run…

Started the programme 28/12/14...... first 5k medal today at the Edinburgh Resolution 5k run managed 29 mins 14 second so I'm delighted 10k entered mid April

Just bumping this to let people know that the programme really does work I started D1 W1 28th December I couldnt run to the end of the road, i've completed the programme and entered for a 5k run in March which i'm confident in completing in sub 30mins also managed to loose an amazing 8lbs without much of a diet change.…

Went for it it ..,....was meant to be D2 WK 8 ....I just kept going until I hit the 5k, timed out at 36.16 which was a 7.15 pace...,I'm going to run 5k again either Friday or Saturday then crack on with 10 k training which I'm hoping will help to improve my 5k pace???

Going to just get the 5k run out the way should have jus t went for it tonight was meant to be doing W8D1 28 mins but I was feeling go od and just keepgoing it was a good run not fast but I know Icould have uupped the pace managed 4.6 km so the 5km sub 30 mins will be done this week hopefully .

Had a bad day a work and went straight for a 30 min run instead of the 28 min I was meant to do W8D1 I wasn't pushing it and managed 4.6 km .....the 5K sub 30 min will be happening this week

Wow scotland , Texas and aussieland, sounds like it could be a bit off a mad mix . Romy there's a couple of Resolution 5k runs happening March time so I'll incorporate either the Edinburgh or Glasgow one into my programme

Just joined the bridge to 10K version i'm on D2 W7 of the C25K and hope to complete about 19th February, I have entered a 10K race on April 12th so that gives me 6/7 weeks to train, I was considering jumping onto W6 of the Bluefin Ease to 10k programme but would take any advice or pointers in respect to this....

Not posted for a while now onto W7 D2.....The programme really does work I was struggling running for a minute or so a few weeks ago now i'm running comfortably non stop for 25minutes

Just completed D1W4 was a bit worried increasing to the 5 min run but if you stay focused on your pace and breathing its okay, had to really push myself the last minute of the second 5 main run but I made it so I'm well chuffed. Nice one Yoshi...to be honest I think W 3 is a lot easier than W2....bought a new pair of running shoes today with the money I saved stopping smoking at the beginning of the week so I'm getting serious about completing this.

Did W3D1 slowed my pace down on the 3min run sections from 10 km /hr to 8 km/hr it really helped and I felt I handled the session comfortably, I was a bit worried before I started due to the run time doubling but now its done there's nothing to fear just adjust your pace down bit.......delighted and looking forward to D2W3…
