How long have you been eating over? Do you know how much? If it's only a few days, honestly it's probably mostly water retention. Just get back to a moderate deficit and it'll trend back downward. I always had at least one day a week I'd eat over my deficit (typically my maintenance if not a but above ). I made sure I…

How about eating real food and staying at a moderate deficit? Sounds like all you'd do with those scam products is get a lighter wallet.
-
Right, you act like I've never been in a deficit before. I'm well aware you have to moderate and pick and choose what is/is not worth your time calories wise. Especially, if you're trying to make sound dietary decisions based on health but foods on their own don't dictate a persons health or well being. Their entire diet…

I was going to reply, then I realized who posted it. No thanks.

Oh, so the definition of crap is purely based on the user's definition and use of it? I would have eaten the hell out of that Maggie Moos ice cream truck...that's right. Whole truck. Yolo. Just because you don't want to make it fit into your day doesn't make it crap. You know what's crap then? Kale. Because gross.

Congratz on your weight loss but holy run on sentence Batman.

I gain about a week before and my hunger either goes away completely, or I want to eat everything in sight. I drop the weight shortly after I start.
-
You learn to portion it, fit it, log it, and move on. Honestly, I enjoy more foods now, then I ever did before counting because I know my maintenance and I know one day over or a slice of pizza, doesn't ruin all the hardwork I've done. You log things to the best of your ability and move forward. Some days, you might be…

Ermegerd. I found these Google searches about the ebils of grain and someone said, "Trust me, I'm a doctor." /proceeds to spam forums with nonsense. Kk. Moderation in all things. Get your bodies required nutrients, stay away from foods you're allergic to, and stay within your caloric goals for whatever you're trying to…

Can you prepare them the night before in baggies or containers? I usually prepare everything for the week at the beginning (okay not meals but I at least chop up veggies and fruits). That way when I get them out, I put a bowl or plate on my food scale, zero it out and then put my stuff on individually and add that to my…

Count everything.

I had 50 lbs to lose after my second baby and it took probably the last 5-10 lbs before I saw significant change in my stomach. In fact, about midway through my weight loss I had that awkward "I'm getting smaller everywhere but my stomach, so it gives the optical illusion it's therefore bigger. " thing. I weight lifted…

I ignore sugar in my diary, as I don't have a medical condition that requires me to monitor it. Instead, I focus on hitting my macro and micronutrients for health and staying within my calorie limits for whatever my goals may be.

Yesh I enjoy the variety of flavors. I'm currently searching for the different kinds of Ben and Jerry's cookie butter cores but Edys is great for the price, calories, and tummy =P I enjoyed their pumpkin pie flavor in the fall.
-
Absolutely. I had a friend who was vegan who loved Talenti. It is select flavors. From Google it appears the sorbetto may be the only ones? But their sorbetto is yummy too!
-
You poor thing... Why would you do that to yourself? I also wouldn't call Arctic Zero "ice cream". It's like somewhat flavored watery cardboard. I'd rather eat Edys slow churn for 150 calories for like 89g than suffer through an entire pint of that crap. Talenti offers some vegan friendly flavors, fwiw. I vote Talenti.

High carbs, low fat sounds like horrible vitamin absorption. Add that to a highly restrictive diet seems like a pretty bad plan.

I'm 5'3" 120 lbs and eat around 1900 every day. When I'm active, I can maintain close to 2300
-
Oh yeah, Freelee is totally not insane
-
It is false. And while you may find you like to be lower in carb intake it is necessary for weight loss. You made a post claiming all calories are not equal. Then claimed you don't lose weight by eating higher carbs. But that's not true. A calorie is a calorie. Whether you experienced water retention (as mentioned earlier)…

I finally committed to weight loss and fitness after my second baby. I gained 50 lbs and after my 6 week check up, I started exercising regularly and calorie counting. Focus on calories in vs out for weight loss. Exercise for fitness. Both are great to incorporate but sometimes with a LO, exercise can be sporadic. I'd try…

Pahaha yes! It's only fair, make them extra calories disappear... Like magic!
-
Ah, certainly avoiding certain foods that make you feel icky would be good. I just always advocate that people make choices they can stick to long term. I have many vegan friends who certainly love their eating methods and I respect them highly but doing it "just" for weight doesn't seem worthwhile, especially with how…

It's really good!!

Yesh!! He deserves extra tummy raspberries today!

You did it just to lose weight? That's completely unnecessary. I would think moral or dietary reasons (like diseases or intolerances. Heck, maybe even because you like eating this way) would be more of a reason. If you like cheese, why make all these unnecessary changes? Also, if you're hell bent on this. Make sure you're…

Well, this took a more serious tone then intended lol.

Makes me think of Wreck it Ralph and Zangeef. "I crush man's skull like sparrows egg between thighs. "
-
So, I'm taking it you're not going to take suggestions and observations from people in this thread that aren't subscribing to what you're saying? I've noticed I lost more weight when I stick to my calorie goal that keeps me in a deficit. Which includes ice cream a lot. It just mean ice cream= weight loss.

Hehe, the second I tried to pick it out it broke into tiny pieces . I was stuck with it. But honestly was a pleasant coffee with it =P
