  • This is what worked for me. I drink lot of water and make sure I exercise. I don't seem to bloat as much and it has made my cramps very mild. Also since eating healthy it has made my period a bit lighter too.
  • We live on a tight budget with me out of work. We get food from a food bank too Now I was spending like $50 a week on junk food as treats mind you but we didn't "have money" for food. The main thing I did was cut out the junk food and use that $50 I spent on junk food for buying healthy food. Now I also plan meals and work…
  • I have GERD. It use to be pretty severe they were afraid it was going to eventually go into cancer. Since I changed my eating habits I don't really have a problem anymore. I find no eating right before bed is key. I eat pretty clean--very limited junk food and processed foods. I still eat spicy food and foods with acid etc.

  • I was a lifetime WW member who had lost 150 pounds with them. I did it through meetings. I gained it all back and don't have the money for meetings now. I found WW find of left you at loose ends during maintenance. MFP lets me track my nutrients which I love and there are no "free" foods. I think at least for me MFP keeps…
  • I had horrific GERD. The doctors were worried that it was going to go to Barrett's and then cancer. I always had tums and usually threw up in the night--nothing worked. Since I've been eating healthy (jan 1st 2015) I have had zero problems. I eat spicy food a lot too. Mine seemed to be aggravated by stress and eating crap.
  • I use it in my smoothie each day. More for the nutrients than hunger control. It's very good to use. I also love chia seeds too.
  • I just got a fitbit flex tonight. This thing rocks. My mom got me an ifit for Christmas and it was defective so I returned it today and got the fitbit for the same price.
  • I have a 116 to lose. 13 years ago I lost 150 but just lost motivation and didn't know how to maintain it. I tried to lose several times since then. Now I'm back for good. I want it gone!!! Feel free to add me as a friend if you'd like.

  • I'm in Maine. I have 116 pounds to lose.
  • I'm there! I'm on unemployment so only make a little more than 1/2 of my regular income. I do Zumba DVD's for exercise. I never like to pay for exercise would just rather do these or go for a walk. As far as eating we were taking my husband's tips which is extra money for us. So like $50-60 a week. I use to use this on…
  • I love Applebee's and there new cedar lemon grilled chicken. It comes with an apple relish (mostly just diced granny smiths) and quinoa. Very yummy and filling. I really didn't think I'd like it that much.
  • I officially weigh once a week and sometimes take sneak peek during the week. I track the one I do on my weigh in day. Measurements I'm going to take monthly.
  • It can be hard to distinguish. I started off with the Wii version of Zumba to see if I liked it. The DVD's give you a harder workout, but the Wii was a good starting point. I didn't want to spend a lot of money if I didn't like it so the Wii enabled me to try it without spending too much money
  • I have a 122 pounds to lose and have just recommitted. New year and it'll be a new me! I lost 150 pounds 13 years ago so I know it can me done--just didn't know how to maintain then lost the motivation to care. Make small changes. Regarding exercise you don't really need a gym. Walking is the easiest to do. Also can do…
  • I love Zumba! I've been doing it off and on for a few years. I use DVD's--have the original one and the exhilarate. It is the only exercise I really love and that I see the most results from. In the past I have lost 20 inches off my body in about 3 months doing Zumba. We'll see what the results will be this time and I plan…
  • Ok I'm 276 pounds and 5'4" and mine is set up to 1380 a day. I make sure I workout and add it then that bumps me up to 2206 calories that I'm allowed. Workout and add that and it should help. Plus eat fiber and protein foods to fill you up.
  • I have 120 pounds to lose. I've broken it up in smaller increments. Lose 24 pounds by 4/1/15, lose 64 pounds by my birthday which is in September etc. Ultimate goal is be at goal by June 2016 which will be when I travel down to see my son's high school graduation. I've don't have friends on here yet since I just discovered…
  • All very good advice. Stress plays a huge role in your body.
  • I did very well yesterday. Lots of protein and fiber. Just cleaned out refrigerator and am grocery shopping for more healthy food. Almost time to Zumba in a little bit.
