  • Hey Kelly!!! Welcome!! Water will be your best friend that is for certain! Add some lemon slices or cucumber slices to it to make it a bit more interesting. I tend to get bored of water sometimes and don't get all that I need. One of my biggest weaknesses. Anyway, welcome, good luck and congrats on the little one :)
  • Hi there! I'm new-ish to MFP. Have been a member for ages but haven't really used this until now. Going to try to have MFP as my journaling aspect of wellness for 2015. Definitely don't go cold turkey on the Pepsi...like the above said, just cut back in small amounts...soon it will be one can and you find it much easier to…

I find that is key when getting motivated, and make small, measurable, goals. For example: be able to do 25 push ups by april...stuff like that. Happy to provide suggestions and…

If you have Facebook check out Eaton Elite Fitness. They have an ab challenge that is amazing! It's $15 to sign up this time, I did it last month and holy Abs!…

If going out on Friday/Saturday nights is a priority for you, it's going to be tough. I'm boring I guess and don't go out much, but I just think of how…

Nut butters-almond butter is better than most others, a good protein powder added to nearly everything...I use Complete Nutrition's V-Core vanilla (can't remember if it's vegan or not) but I've mixed it with everything from non-fat plain greek yogurt, to smoothies, to oatmeal and on top of cereal. Beans/legumes,…
  • Do you have or use a Heart Rate monitor? If so you can calculate a pretty accurate calorie burn that way too. If not, logging as cardio will give you a pretty good idea because you're HR will be elevated doing both exercises. :)
