Love this ! The key for me is clarifying the currently blurred line between want and NEED. Everything I…

I am four years out and had a hiatal hernia repaired with VSG. The hernia is back and three months ago my PPI, taken twice daily, stopped working. The switch from Omoprazole to Esomeprazole, 1 X per day, has made all of the difference for me.

I was recently hospitalized due to reactive non-diabetic hypoglycemia. Recent studies show that bariatric patients two+ years out start to add more carbs to their diet as they work with maintenance. The pancreas can over respond and produce too much insulin causing a spike in sugar followed by a dramatic drop. I…

I've requested a Versa 2 thread. I love mine !

Sleeved May 2015, 64, 5'5". HW 345, LW 125, CW maintaining 139-144. I use my Fitbit and MFP to maintain this healthy lifestyle. Challenges with non-diabetic reactive hypoglycemia have increased my MFP logging.

I love my Versa and the ability to monitor heart rate and quality of sleep.

I had VSG 05/2015, HW 345, LW 125, CW 139-144. I am 5'5" and 64 years old. I was too thin with insufficient body fat so worked my way to my current range, which I have maintained for four years. I believe maintenance is more difficult than losing, requiring ongoing vigilance. I'm currently challenged by non-diabetic…

I was recently hospitalized for this after I crashed hard with symptoms mimicking heart attack and or stroke. I am now tracking glucose levels upon waking and 1,2 and 3 hours after meals, in addition to tracking food. It is important to respond with a protein/fat combination at the first sign of symptoms. With reactive…

Finally found a great lap pool two years after relocating ! Addicted to music while swimming and the demise of ITunes made my Audioflood obsolete. Trying my Delphin with Spotify playlists for the first time today !

I went from 345 to 139-144 (I have a target range) and have been maintaining 2.5 years. Feel free to add me. Support is good !
-
You can do this ! I've maintained a 200 pound weight loss for 2.5 years and I've logged in here for 1150+ consecutive days. That correlation is no accident.
-
You can do it ! Logging faithfully (1100+ days) has helped me maintain a 205 pound loss for two + years. Calories in, calories out... One good choice at a time !
-
You can totally do this !! I lost 205 pounds, and have maintained a weight between 139-144 for two years. Log your food, balance your macros, drink water, and move ! I started walking with walking poles at first, because my knees were so bad. Now, my dog and I easily walk 6-10 miles. Jump in, and don't look back !!

It is important to my long term success to create a "Not fuel" category in MFP diary. For me to maintain, I don't look at food as "bad" or "cheating", but as I log everything, I do want to keep track of what I'm eating that has minimal nutritional value, as I look at trends.

Food is fuel.

Just found and bookmarked this site. I'm returning home from 10 days in CA without a scale. 15,000-25,000 steps every day, and fairly on plan eating, but no scale. I'll take stock tomorrow morning, and log my plan. Great idea ... one day at a time is a perfect lenses !!
