I had a complication filled laproscopic complete hysterectomy March 30 - ended up with 3 tiny incisions plus belly button. I was completely down for 2 1/2 weeks and then lightly mobile for 2 1/2 weeks before I was cleared for work - took 2 more weeks before I was fully cleared 100%. Yeah - my job is super sedentary. I've…

EEK!!! Was your gall bladder surgery done laproscopicaly? I am scheduled to have mine removed on teh 7th of July and I'm hoping for this surgery I am only down a couple of days - unlike the 5 weeks I suffered through earlier this year for another surgery - which a complication from that one led to the discovery of my gall…

I forget to log usually because I just plain skip a meal :( I've eliminated 99.9% of all soda from my life.......no chips (except occasional snack bag size)....increased fruits/veggies....... getting to the gym is still a challenge between work and home life - but I get there every chance I can. Due to physical issues -…

honestly for today? making it through the day without breaking down and buying a big bag of chips! This is a very stressful week at work for me and in the past I've always just snacked non stop on chips and other unhealthy junk and lived on soda. I had a banana and OJ for breakfast, packed leftovers from dinner last night…

Well, I finally got an appointment with my surgeon - surgery is set for July 7. Assuming they can get the scope in and then up through the belly button (baring hysterectomy complications) it will be an outpatient surgery. It's set for a Thursday so hopefully back to work on Monday - Tuesday at the latest.
