I just went through having my clothes get very loose without the scale showing a loss. It lasted a couple weeks then my weight dropped quickly for a couple days in a row. I knew I was logging and eating correctly so I waited it out.

I like to slice it thick and brush with a little olive oil and lightly salt then bake until tender. Top with some homemade marinara (store bought way too sweet :s) and either mozzarella or some feta then broil until cheese melts - only a minute or two. It's delicious.
