I've got 80 to lose! I've lost 12 so far, super excited! Its great on this site as long as you have supportive people on your friends list!

I would do the soup thing, but see, I live in the northeast. Like, on the canadian border. We have -40f Days. So that would just be a disaster. But I am trying to eat. It seems to be a stomach virus, because i haven't been able to keep anything down since last night. I'm going to make some soup or something soupy(aka…

Yeah. i think i'll just have to suck it up and be low today. I just hate being at 700 calories. Its out of my comfort zone. I'll just nibble on a piece of wheat toast when i get home before I crash. Its the best i'll be able to do.
-
Well, I'm stumped then on what to do. I dont want to eat, and then be sick again. This is why I don't eat candy.
-
Yeah see i cant really figure it out. I usually do eat nutritious food, but i had to make do. I dont think i'll be able to eat more tonight because now my stomach is rolling. I was going to have some tea, but that is no calories. So I'm kind of stumped. Maybe an extra multivitamin?

I agree. Unless your doctor tells you specify that it is okay(which for you and your small goal would not be), I wouldn't do it. If you had say 80+ like I do, then it could be possible. but again, not without doctor supervision. You should aim for something like 1400 a day.

Support is the best part of this site! Just don't let the judgmental people ruin your groove!

This! I always want to be losing more then the 1-3 pounds that you are healthily able to lose. So basicly its all about keeping myself up. Its like "oh my god this is going to take FOREVER" But when you think about it, in a month, you'll start to see a difference. I really like to work on toning my muscles along with the…

Well at least you are trying! Feel free to add me. I bet you'll meet your goal, it just takes a lot of time. I always want the weight to just be off already, so seeing 1-3 pounds a week shed, is like "Eh, why cant it be 10?". Hardest part for me is remembering it takes time and not getting discouraged. plus, carbs are my…

green tea has been proven to boost your metabolism! And as long as you aren't adding sugar, has no calories. I find no problems in it, and it tastes great. You can always squeeze some lemon in for sweetness if needed. (: The way it gets bad for you is when you are drinking it with sugar. Artificial sugar is not needed at…

This. I shall try this. I would try the cheese ideas you all keep posting, except I am lactose intolerant. So. My life sucks. Thanks though!
-
Loving your responses! I'm not afraid to try and eat things I do not like, I just wanted a way to make them enjoyable. I think sneaking them in will be one of the easiest ways. But i'll be trying many of your suggestions.

Why even post on something, to be unhelpful. Thanks anyways.

Thanks everyone, I'll give some a try!

I cant have that much dairy, it makes me sick. and I like spicy and salty more then sweet. any idea how to achieve that with veggies?
-
tell me how to spice it up my friend.

there are a few i like, I just want to broaden my scopes. uncooked carrots, broccoli, and kale are okay. But I want to be able to expand it so as to not get bored.
-
I love tortilla chips! They aren't as bad for you as you would think. Its just a little bit of sodium that you'll have to drink more water for. But they are a great snake! Get the whole wheat ones for extra fiber (;

I started at 227, and I'm currently at 218! Goal of 145, seems like such a long road, kind of daunting.

I think mean to some, friendly to others, depending.

In responce to both of you. Honestly, I appreciate the advice, its nice and all. But I'm going to go by what my doctor says is right for me. And considering she is a doctor, and said I needed to eat over a certain amount of calories to stay out of that danger zone, AND not work out unless I planned on eating more then the…

I do. I've looked into what to do, and am following my doctors advice. I do light exercises, because i'm on a very low calorie intake. If I did more, it would kick my body into starvation mode.
-
No, I am indeed not worried about muscle. I am doing some light exercises, especially for my arms, as I don't want to become a flying squirrel. I also have always only drank water, so cutting soda out of my diet isn't something I even had to put thought into. I've never ate very terribly, I just haven't been able to lose…
