  • I was off work for 6 months after having an operating on my shoulder. During that time I was out walking /running everyday for at least 45 mins. Now back in work , I start at 6am each day, by the time I get home at 3pm I'm shattered and have no energy for anything! ! That's my excuse! ! Need some motivation
  • I've recharged my fit bit too!! I'm also walking the 6 flights of stairs at work, and trying to get at least 12 thousand steps in! Any tips to fit in extra exercise into my day is greatly appreciated x. Good luck
  • I fell.off too! Starting again today. It took 12 months to lose 28lbs., and 6 to put 16 back on. I have to change again....good luck everyone restarting their journey

  • I tried sleeping for half an hour late afternoon but couldn't sleep when I got in bed! I tried eating 1800 calories but felt worse. .sluggish. Think I need to change jobs! :wink:
  • Calories add up to 1400.a day. I'm on my feet at work all day. Usually do 11000 steps. Need energy for the gym...My thyroid was checked and is fine. ..Many thanks
  • It takes a couple of weeks for it all to work itself out! I don't really know why .....Try looking at the post soon the Fitbit board it's really helpful. I think patience is the key to start with. Good luck :wink:
  • I've had issues with my heart rate. ..it goes up to 180 when I run. I was really concerned kept thinking it was going yo explode! I went and had some tests done. ...everything is fine. I felt better getting it checked out though. Maybe it will put your mind at rest if you do the same. ..its usually nothing, we always fear…
  • You have done great, I'm in a similar position. It took 12 months yo lose 28lb. I've now gained 9 back!! Trying to lose a few of them...again lol. We can do this :wink:
  • I lost 28lbs got to my 'ideal' weight had lost all my boobs! ! I put on 6lbs and they reappeared lol but I felt better weighing less :(
  • I'm 48 female and my heart rate goes to 190bpm when doing cardio. I was concerned and got it checked out . The hospital said it's fine. :) if you are worried though get it checked, :wink:
  • Omg I could be you! ! Except you're a lot younger lol...I'm 5ft I was 165 lbs 12months ago. Very happily being 126lbs the boom..went away put on 8lbs can't get my groove back!! First day back on it today. ...good luck we can do this x :)
  • One 'splurge ' is fine, don't do what I did. ...lost 30lbs in a year put 8 back on....started with a one day splurge when I went on holiday in February and has carried on til now.....cannot get back into the groove. .

  • Hi I'm 5ft female. I got down to my 'goal' weight of 127lbs. I've since put on 6lbs but feel better at 130. Trying to lose the last 3lbs. ...I'm like a yo yo! Keep at it. ..In for the long haul. :blush:
  • I feel your pain.....had rotator cuff surgery last August. ...still have issues with it, but a lot better than it was. :wink: hope you soon feel better. I started long walks then they turned into runs, I'm now a 5km runner! !!! :smiley:
  • Happy birthday for last week. ...im in a similar position. Took a year to lose 30 lbs. I got to my 'ideal' weight and wham o blamo I've lost track and put on 8lbs in 5 weeks. ..   • You sound as thought you copied my month! I got down down to 126lbs my 'ideal' weight. I though I'd ate at maintenance but got weighed and gain 10 lbs. ...I need to get back on board! ! We got this. :wink:
  • Hi everyone, I lost nearly three stone over 12 months, but since doing maintenance have gained 10lb. .. I am great during the week but weekend is a nightmare! I need to shift the weight again as being 5ft it shows really bad !! I hope we can support each other. . :)

  • I have more or less identical problems as you with my fitbit hr. .....I just use mfp for calorie intake and fitbit for exercise. ...if you figure it out please message me. ... :wink:

  • It's sooo hard. I got from 163 lbs to 125lbs and decided I need to lose 7lb more but my body won't! I'm stuck at this weight and fluctuate within a 3lb range, I'm a 48 year old female and am 5ft. It's frustrating. ...good luck everyone says be patient. Lol
