Hello - 47 here. I have lost and gained the same 25 pounds several times over the years. I need to lose 50 but for some reason, at the 25 point, I start to relax and then slowly it all comes back. I need this to be the time it sticks and I break through. Only a week into it so still motivated and focused, but I know life…

Wondering if anyone is still reading this bread. If you are - I did it! We ran our 5k yesterday and while I was no speed demon - I came in 17th out of 51 in my age group:) It was a lot of fun and I will definitely be signing up for another one!

Completed the program and now need to work on my time. A month and a half before the race and want to get to a 10 min mile. Good luck everyone!

One more and I will have completed the program. Currently doing a 12 min mile so will be working on improving my time before my 5K in October. Pretty happy about it!

Nice job everyone! We got this! Question for all of you. Have you signed up for a 5K and when is it? Mine is on October 15th. My goal is not just to finish but be at a 10 min mile or better.

Just finished it and you are right!! It felt fine and gave me so much confidence that I can do this. Just trust the program and go slow.

Heading out to do w5d3 - worried about the 20 minutes but have faith that the program has prepared me for this. Determined not to walk.
