I will express the reason's I'm becoming healthier out loud both morning and afternoon
I will stay within my calorie budget for the day and not overindulge
I will work out for 30 minutes today
I am expressing gratitude for powerful advice that has been phrased many different ways but the core message is consistent. It doesn't matter how many times we get knocked down, it matters how many times we get up.

    Good day:

    Expressed my wellness mantra twice
Stayed within my calorie budget with only a minor run in with Reeses minis
Didn't work out but was active

    For today:

I will express the reason's I'm on this journey twice, once in the morning and in the afternoon
I will stay within my calorie budget for the day and not overindulge
I will work out for 60 minutes today
I am expressing gratitude for the calorie data base in MFP. I can recall my father in the 1970's trying to track calories through a pocket book. I tried a decade ago to create a point system built on healthy, neutral and unhealthy. The MFP program makes this quick and easy.

I keep setting goals in my head, but forget to write them down! We are having flooding and generally horrible weather where I live and it is making getting enough steps a big challenge. I really need to be pushing myself more.

My weight is doing very odd things--I've been gaining more than makes any sense. Starting to worry that I might have another tumor or some other worrisome thing going on. :(

    Friday:
    1. 12,000 steps
    2. weight workout
    3. under 100G carbs

I have been somewhat preoccupied with Hogwarts Challenge this week, but I have been reading your posts.

@azulvioleta6 I hope your home is not flooded, and that you are staying safe. If you are worried about your health, perhaps it would put your mind at rest if you spoke to your doctor. Hugs and positive thoughts for you.

@Elaine352962 I love your flower painting. Is it one of your own?

@joan6630 I hope your daughter is recovering and that you can get her the help she needs. Stay strong, and remember look after yourself during this trying time in your life.

@47Jacqueline Congrats on your new home. May you find comfort and joy there. :star:

@WellingTX It's difficult to fill the void that a beloved pet leaves in our lives when they go, but we have more than enough love, and space in our hearts for a new fur baby.

:star: I am inspired by the dedication of the regulars here :star:

 Welcome to the newcomers. These are some of the things that people have said to me about goals.
    • Start with one or two goals and build on your successes.
    • Allow time for new habits to develop.
    • Post achievable goals every day, and celebrate every single one you meet.
    • Set a non food reward for yourself after you achieve a goal consistently over a period of time.
    • Every day is a new start. Don't waste time on feeling guilty about goals you don't achieve, but rather, use that energy in finding ways to do better next day.

:star: Have a great weekend, everyone :star:

    Good day

Under my calorie budget three days in a row, didn't over indulge
Worked out for 63 minutes, felt good
Expressed my wellness mantra both morning and afternoon. Took a swim though MFP in the evening for a dose of support.

    For today:

I will express my wellness mantra twice, both morning and afternoon
I will stay within my calorie budget for the fourth straight day and not overindulge in any single food
I will work out for 60 minutes
I am expressing gratitude for the love and support of my parents. Tough couple of days for my lovely bride and I. Parents have checked in daily to see how we are.
