Is anyone surprised at how much you have to eat to reach your nutrition goals, especially "healthy" foods. On a perfect day where I've eaten "clean" and lots of fresh fruits & vegetables, I find I'm far from my iron & calcium RDA goals.

Actually weighing & measuring has really been an eye opener for me! The greatest surprise is that my body (& mind) is actually good with the much, much smaller portions! AMAZING!

LOL! Thanks for the replies. For the record, I LOVED my grandmothers, God rest their souls, it's just that before & during my cycle I feel older, slower, less motivated, etc. (as in the way SOME older people are portrayed).
