I've always been told that marathon runners can have thier nipples chafe until they bled. That's why there is some sort of glide gel they wear.
-
Ah, distance running. The only hobby where nipple bleeding and soiling yourself are part of the fun!

Speaking as a man... Confidence is sexy. Period. Give me a 175 lb woman who is confident in her body and ready to throw down over a 100lb woman who is and wants to cover things. And in a relationship... The trust required to "let it all hang out" warts, fat rolls and all, is part of what builds intimacy IMHO. You should…

Ok, I've never heard of cyclocross, but that looks fun as all hell!
-
Strava seems to be popular...

The main area that broke out was behind the face, on the opposite side of my arm. The area around the buckle is fine.

I wore it for a month with no issue, so I doubt it. Never worn much costume jewelry, being a guy and all. I think I just had it too tight and got sweaty.
-
Yeah, I took it off all day today and the rash is clearing up. Gonna be more careful about washing and drying out after exercise. I think I'm gonna start taking it off at night. The sleep tracking is a waste of time anyway IMHO.

I have never done a pullup in my life. I still have flashbacks of failing the boy scout fitness test because I couldn't do even one. I have 37 inch arms, no upper body strength, and a fat *kitten*. Not a good combo for pull-ups. My trainer says those, and bench, and squats will always be hard for by body type. On the other…

Nah. I know she was frustrated because the trainer refused to work her out because she had back pain. I imagine that's why.

I see your point about greeting noobs. About a month in to my tenure at the gym, one of the "fit people" walked by, fist bumped me, and said something positive. That was nice. I made a point to talk to the woman that was like reality show obese. I haven't seen her lately sadly.
-
Ah yes. "female trouble", the unquestionable excuse. Just as an offhand observation... Is it just me, or is a woman trying to pull her wedgie out of her butt while running fast on a treadmill while trying not to hey caught absolutely hilarious?
-
I think it has something to do with paying attention to your fellow diners or some such nonsense.
-
I don't believe it has. My gym has a lot of very serious bodybuilder types. They pretty much do thier thing. When my doughboy self asks to work in, no problem. There are also 400+ pounders there. College kids. Elderly folks. Everything in between. Frankly, I've found the gym goers to be more friendly and helpful than…

I used to try to do this when I was a kid. I was informed that it was poor table manners and to stop. So no, Americans know that rule.

Elliptical would probably be the most quiet. The rowing makes at my gym only make a fan noise on each stroke. I wouldn't think that would be too bad.
-
I generally eat back half or less of my hr calorie allotment.
-
I regret allowing myself to be obese literally since I was 12. I regret stopping what lost me 50lbs ten years ago and gaining it back.

I'm trying to develop active hobbies. Right now, im thinking triathlon, with some hiking and paddling mixed in. I figure if I'm always training for something, I'll treat food like fuel rather than going back to boredom eating. Unfortunately, my hips and feet are not loving running. Hopefully getting used to it and losing…

Awesome idea. I added some things. I don't usually like house music btw. But it is good while running I think.

When I started wearing mine, it was 63. After a month of working out, it's dropped to 53.

Yes, you can put the charge hr in workout mode by holding the button. Yes, it keeps track of hr during workouts. I have found it to be dead on with the hr on cardio equipment. Every person I've met that gripes about the accuracy in real life was wearing it wrong. You have to wear it one fingers width above the wrist bone,…

I have a charge hr. It does count workout calories. My next gadget is this... http://gizmodo.com/garmin-forerunner-920xt-the-best-triathlon-watch-gets-1641114744

If I were to buy one cardio machine, I'd get a rower.

1. Who cares? Do it for you. 2. Any guy intimidated by that ain't worth having. 3. Maybe you'll meet a fellow lifter. At least you'll have something in common.
-
I use runnkeeper. It does that.
-
Truthfully, I'm mainly running integrals because I can't run very long at a time. Lol I'm doing about 2 mins at 4.7 then walk for two minutes basically.
-
Thanks. Sounds like probably a good idea.
-
I think it should be a law that all restraunts have to furnish reasonably accurate nutritional info on request.

I have the charge hr. It's good. I am also a cook, and also wash my hands a million times a day. No problem. (of course, here, the health code prohibits wearing anything on the arms. I ignore that and plan on just slipping it in my pocket if the health inspector shows up lol). The fitbit app is also great. I hear the…
