Planks. God I hate planks.

Try warrior dash to start. It is a 5k and easier obstacles. I'm doing it in October. Spartan race is also an option.

Step one is weight loss. I started at 295. I want to get down to the 220 range. I have not weighed that little since middle school. From there, I hope to have found some good physical hobbies. I'm thinking outdoor type stuff (hiking, biking, trail running) and maybe yoga. Maybe start competing in something. I have found as…

I lost 70 lbs eight years ago. Did it by eating "better" and lots of exercise. Gained it all back. See, when I lost it, I was single work a roommate who was doing it with me. We both got married, I went back to my old habits, with inevitable results. This time will be different. Mainly in two ways. 1. Rather than an…

In addition to one of the aforementioned cardio options, you might try yoga. I just started, and it is a killer full body strength workout, and increases flexibility. There are a plethora of videos and apps to guide one thorough it.

I'm sorry, that wasn't clear. I meant a 300 to 1500 calorie deficit. I'm eating at least 2000 calories a day.
-
I have the same problem. I don't cook, and eat all my meals take out. I am doing great with calories, macros are good, but always well over on sodium. I have pretty high blood pressure. Will losing weight and getting fitter fix that?
-
I average anywhere between 300 to 1500 per day, depending on exercise. I am eating all I really want. I don't see the need to eat more just because the number says to.

I synch to fitbit first. Then I open mfp. Sometimes i need to hit the synch button. Once in a while, it won't do it for awhile. I've never had it take more than an hour though.

I have been on zoloft for about a year. I think (no evidence, just my opinion) that depression, at least in my case, was an appetite suppressant. I just didn't care about food. I never went out with friends or anything, because I was depressed. Once you are out of that, you eat more, which causes weight gain. It also,…

Every morning after voiding. My scale logs it automatically.

I've lost about 12 lbs in a about three weeks. Of course, I have a lot to lose. I also went to zero exercise to daily exercise.
-
Yeah, there were a few buggy days last week. Working great today though.

Ah. My only experience with pole dancing is from a handful of visits to a gentleman's club in my misspent youth. The sound of skin squealing off of brass always sounded painful.
-
I was inspired by some of the people on yoga class today. Lean, cut, etc. I hope to get there.

I was working out in a pair of cheap Walmart specials. After reading the advice here, I went to a running store and was fitted for running shoes. It is absolutely amazing the difference it makes. Running is so much more comfortable now. Also, get running socks. I don't know why I've ended most days of my life with damp…

I'm starting the body combat class at the gym Tuesday. It is going to absolutely kill me, but whatever. Looks fun.

Work b!tch by Britney Spears. Yes it is a terrible terrible song. But the beat and lyrics get me going on the treadmill.

I have one (it was originally purchased for an elderly relative with diabetic neuropathy). I occasionally find it useful for muscle soreness. But as a workout? Nah.

I will admit that if the person on the machine next to me is going faster than me, I will push it more than usual. Today I did a hot yoga class for the first time. The place was packed, very little room. Two very fit, toned girls were on the mats directly on front of me. I think they thought I was staring at them. Of…

A massage if you can afford it. Foam roller a cheap option. Ibuprofen. Ice, then heat. I have a vibration plate you stand on that helps. It gets better after the first few weeks. Your muscles are in wtf! Mode right now.

First time trying a yoga class. Whipped my butt. I sweated buckets. It was hot yoga. Tomorrow I work out with my trainer for the first time.
-
I had the egg white deluxe for breakfast. Not bad, but still ridiculously high in sodium.
-
Some days, I'll have no appetite. I will run a huge deficit. Other days, I'm ravenous, and want to inhale everything.
-
I'm falling to understand... You weren't losing weight at 1200... How is going to 1500 going to fix that? Are you planning on exercising more?
-
How much are storage units in your area? Here in Nashvile, lots of musicians rent them to rehearse in without pissing of the neighbors.
-
Does mfp do this automatically if you input your weight?
-
Same here. I let fitbit hr track my cardio. I log strength training just to keep track of what I did.
-
What is the difference between yoga and pilates? I'm starting hot yoga tomorrow, and I'm excited!

Seafood. I would love to eat more fish and shrimp, but can't afford it.
