And they also don't delete sugar alcohols or even categorize them so you can subtract them from your day each evening like you can with fiber. It's ridiculous. It's a tiny bit of code. Since food count them it should be an easy fix if they cared at all about low carb vs low calorie dieting.

I hate the search function!! So useless. You should be able to search specific forums. I can't on my phone anyway. Maybe on the pic you can? Can you? Poorly designed.

Those are a thing of beauty...

Shoot, I forgot to take a picture! But it was Taco Tuesday here. Low carb wheat tortilla with ground beef fried up with chili powder, on fresh spinach, avocado and shredded cheddar. There was salsa on the table but I'm not a huge fan. It was yummy.

True but at a tsp which is less than even a serving I think you'll be ok. It's pretty expensive, too.
-
Thanks to you for both! I'll def try each suggestion.

Awesome thanks, Kimber!

Good idea. I love olives. I usually keep canned chicken on hand but I need to try various fishes too. Easy chicken salad with an avocado, onion and bit of onion.

Here's the Mug Cake (one of two servings) stats. And the jam I got on Amazon.

Thanks. My daughter is up from NJ with the grands and she's keto except sometimes she uses visiting me as diet vacation! So she can either be super supportive or super enabling! But so far today we're both doing good. 17 net carbs for me for the day.

Yeah I don't think I'd recommend a 72 hour fast with any kind of strenuous hiking.

Wanted to share this http://www.lostways.org/fb/index.php?r=3877&r=6001&tid=main_med_fbk_thelostways&utm_source=facebook&utm_campaign=FL1-LostWays-Direct-WebConv-GP&utm_medium=cpc&utm_term=lookalike_2per_fb_audience_buyers&utm_content=batch1-V5 which came up on my Facebook but looks both easily adaptable to low carb as…

Thanks. That made me smile. Yes, support needs to be supportive at all levels, I agree. It's a perfect firestorm right now m: lack of insurance leading to sub-par diabetes meds my doctor doesn't like but I can afford paying on my own, but maybe this is road I have to be on now. So I can feel sorry for myself and fight the…

Thanks. A lot of issues have lead me here but I think it's the road forward for me. I figured lots of meat, eggs, and cheese - has to be my mantra.

It's my hubby's favorite all time meal. I'm glad I'll be able to make it for him. My grocery store used to sell Carbquik but stopped - so I just Amazon it.
-
That's pretty much the recipe I found. I'm gonna try it. One of these days I'll have to buy some of that z-long word-gum and figure out how to use it.

The Quest protien chips. They're growing on me. I still can't figure out how they make a potato chip looking product out of milk protien?! The BBQ is not bad tho. Very crunchy.

I do make flax crackers. A recipe I actually made up - but there are lots online I found later. I do a 2:1 ration of flax meal to water. Till it's like play doh. Then roll or press it super thin and bake then dry further in cooling oven. I use broth instead of water for more flavor, and I really like caraway seed (rye…

Just got the BBQ ones. I agree with whoever said they are better than the sour cream and onion. Not bad. Very "potato chippy". Nice crunch. Great side with burgers tonight for Memorial Day while the rest of the family eats regular chips (I call them fatty chips).

Thanks Mafhoney! And isparkyl that looks amazing!

Searched every store locally. No dice. I just ordered some on Amazon. Worth a shot.

It just came in. Pretty good. It is very sweet. Ima try it in my coffee. I haven't had Nutella so I can't compare, but it tastes like a nut butter with chocolate and (a lot) of sweetener mixed in. I'm gonna use it as a sweetener for my coffee, as an ingredient in truffle fat bombs, or I'm gonna try to mix it with dark…

Wow!!

I agree. I do like Kahn's too.

I actually use a deep sided big roasting pan. Seems to do fine. I'm too nervous about fires/hot grease to use a sheet pan.

My husband works a 50 hour job as a Nurse Educator and then is also an Assistant Pastor in my aging dad's church (who recently got cancer so we moved here to help), plus is pastoring a brand new church thirty miles north of us so he doesn't have a lot of time to cook - tho he enjoys it. But when he does cook he does a bang…

It was really good. I had it again today, lol. I'm a big texture freak, so the cold crunch of the coleslaw, hot fat of the braut, and the chewiness of the bread tortilla - thing of beauty.

I always bake my bacon. So much easier. And you can do the whole pound at once. If you want it ultra crispy, put it in a rack in the pan. I also get the thick cut bacon but it still bakes up crispy. I like a little chewiness so I don't use a rack.

Strawberries, I don't like frozen.
