I just had a disc removed due to cauda equina. I want to be able to put the least amount of pressure on my spine as possible to prevent further injury. I also want to be able to run again and weighing less helps.

Green Tea helps me tremendously when I’m trying to get through the day without feeling like I’m starving. Adding more protein to my diet as well such as boiled eggs in the morning helps offsets those feelings too.

My usual craving snacks that help me are Orange Sherbert,Popsicles, Halo Ice Cream,Strawbery Jam or PB2 on Waffles, Cottage Cheese with Strawberries/Blueberries. Always use applesauce instead of vegetable oil in my homemade dessert.

Asics and Brooks seem to work the best. Personally I would get fitted it makes all the difference.
