  • What is your calorie goal? Mine is 1200 and since it won't let you go under that even with negative adjustments set up it won't show anything unless I have burned enough.
  • I do 200/500/500. I don't really need much breakfast, but I work out around 9 am so need a little something before then. I like having the two 500 calorie meals after that because I can really get full off of them and don't feel deprived even at 1,200 calories.
  • I do weigh at the same time every day immediately after getting up and before drinking or eating anything. Since I'm only 5'3" and barely out of obesity I didn't think that losing around 2 pounds a week was excessive since I have such a long way to go. It is slowing down some since I have gotten under 170 which I expected.…
  • I have been doing cardio and strength as well as having a two year old who loves to be lifted constantly lol. My weight loss hasn't been particularly fast as I lose around 2 pounds a week but have weeks where I lose less. Never more. I also keep my macros pretty consistent with how mfp has them set up, and if I "go over"…
  • Mine is at the 38 pound mark. That's how much I lost, and just yesterday was the day everyone started really commenting all at once about it. The fact that I was wearing clothes that actually fit instead of my super baggy ones probably helped too.
  • I love PCOS successes. It really gives hope to those of us who also struggle with it.
  • I'm doing Slimfast most days and have lost close to 40 pounds. I just lose easier with the slimfast for some reason. Every couple of weeks I will go off of it for a couple of days to make sure I can maintain the loss and so I'm learning to eat properly. Also I weigh and log everything I eat, so I don't know why people…
  • I think it just calculates the difference is what you are expected to have burned based on your chosen activity level on mfp and the extra calories you burned. your walking might have burned 216 calories but some of those were already included in your goal so you burned 90 over that.
  • I actually see a me that never even existed. My high weight was 207. A lot of my friends and family are around the 300s, and I've always seen myself as around the same size as them. Even now that I'm in the 170s and losing I see myself as a 300 pound woman.
  • I'm kinda weird. I lose from my face and shoulder area first. I've lost 27 pounds so far and my face and collarbone are all bony and I have a could of upper ribs poking out but my belly and thighs are as big as ever. Hopefully it will all even out.
  • I've been doing it a couple of months now and lost almost 20 pounds. I weigh and measure everything I do eat though and am currently transitioning to making my own smoothies at home. I will probably always use slim fast if I'm in a hurry though. I'm not worried about gaining it back because I plan to log whatever I eat for…
  • I wouldn't do it either. Lipo is really for people who are at their goal weight but have a specific area where they accumulate fat that they have trouble getting rid of through diet and exercise. If you are just looking to lose weight it won't do much for you.
  • I've been doing it for a while now. I log everything on here including the one meal I eat. I know I can't stay on it forever, but it helps me get used to eating less and logging which I will take into the long term. I've been averaging the 2 pounds a week it claims you will lose, so it seems to be working.
  • Right now it would be a loose size 14 (not quite 12 though). I hope it is a size 10 by swimsuit season. In my dreams a size 8. No bikinis here no matter what size it is though lol.
  • I have been doing the slim Fast plan mixed with calorie counting on here. It is working great for me, but I know it would work the same with just counting calories. I'm the kind of person who once I start eating it is hard for me to stop though so drinking the shakes and eating one meal is easier for me. Once I have gotten…
  • I have PCOS and a thyroid disorder. I've tried more calories before, but I end up not losing any weight. Right around 1,200 seems to be a good spot for me.
  • I have a one year old as well. Does she go in a play pen? Mine won't, but you could do exercises at home while she is in there if she will. I play Just Dance on our play station as my workout because my son loves to dance so it keeps him occupied as well for the most part. You could also possibly make an agreement with…
  • I'm breastfeeding as well, but my son is 14 months so I don't really worry about it too much. Just make sure that you eat if you actually feel hungry because your body needs calories to make the milk. Also, make sure that you drink a lot of water. If your supply goes down then up the calories. Feeding your baby is more…
  • I am! It is rough, but I am trying. I don't have any tips yet because I am just starting out, but you can do this.
  • Do you count the standing in your exercise and eat those calories back? The app already accounts for some calories, so I wouldn't put those in my exercise log.
