Red Robin here too - but I'd have the lettuce wrapped burger with bleu cheese. And about a gallon of water because that combo makes me so damn thirsty.

I concur. Keep up the good work!

After committing to increasing my water intake over a year ago, I can safely say it is a habit. You'll get there too. You'll stop thinking "I need to have 8 glasses" to noticing how different you feel when you haven't. In fact, this thread reminded me that I need to refill my glass :)

Let me begin by saying I am not a Dr. and I do not need to prepare food for anyone who is anemic. My family eats a lot of chicken, pork & fish and I try whenever possible to cook it in cast-iron cookware. Some amounts of iron have been proven to leach into the foods.

I'll be your friend if you tell me how to open my diary.

I personally would rather start my day with a glass of gasoline than a drink of vinegar. I start my day with 2 cups of coffee with cream. I drink a lot of water. I eat a lot of water-rich foods. It's been said on here before that the toilet paper industry is proof that your body knows how to detoxify itself. It's best to…

Absolutely! I mix white wine 1/2 and 1/2 with club soda. There is a brand of wine here in Canada called "Skinny Grape" that is a calorie-reduced wine that hits the spot for me. Obviously I am not a wine snob, lol.

I'd go topless (but at 46 and after 2 kids I might trip over my boobs if they're not strapped in. Bottomless to me is just too sexual.

Yikes, there's that dreaded "f" word - fair. Life's not fair. My hubby and kids would have to strap on weighted backpacks to gain just one ounce, but it's really about genetics and not fairness. It's all about what I CHOOSE- I choose to track my food, I choose be mindful of my calorie intake, make wiser choices about my…

I love Red Robin - note they do a nice job of wrapping their delicious burgers in lettuce instead of a bun. I love the splurge, I just forego the fries and the drink.

160 so far. 60 to go.

I am still wearing my old bras (note to self: get some new ones) but I have gone from size XXL tops to medium. I am 45 years old.

From my mother: leave the junk food in the store. From the book "The Fit-Bottomed Girls Anti-Diet" - more wisdom than I can share here. It's available on Amazon and it changed my life.

Walk those dogs! I am experiencing great success at the gym, however, I took a week off work in March and the weather was unseasonably warm and dry, I got up every morning and walked my dogs for over an hour 7 days straight. The canines were delighted and I noticed an overall change in the shape of my legs at the end of…

Ugh, first time doing lunges & goblet squats in several months. My legs are like jello!

Can you please come to my house and cut my veggies into pretty shapes like that? I haven't used bento per se, however, I did purchase a few sets of containers made by Rubbermaid, I think they are called The Cube (??) and they all seal nicely and snap together, they come in a variety of sizes and have been great for…

I would look at it this way - in highschool you were a child. You are an adult now and adults weigh more than children. I met with a trainer years ago who asked me what my size goal was. I said Size 8, and she asked me to be honest - had I ever been a size 8 before? I could honestly answer that I had been, prior to having…

Just eat wisely for the reminder of the week and kick the exercise up.

$20/month. I'm at a Canadian version of Planet Fitness.

I use full-fat dressings and just measure 1 to 2 tbsp. It's far more satisfying and a good way to ensure you are getting enough fat - your body needs it!

For me, a healthy heart muscle is more important than shapely delts. However, since I mix up cardio and strength training, I'm getting to be smoking hot on the inside and out.

Take a break! You'll come back stronger. I suffered a profound loss this month - all I've had the energy for was walking . So I walked. My body & mind needed all of the available strength to heal.

A 5 gallon bottle of water or a human leg :)

I've lost 40 lbs since July. I started with the Fit Bottomed Girl's Anti-Diet book. I also got a gym membership, a FitBit and log everything on MFP.

I'm a one-bourbon-man-woman & Jim Beam is my man.

I make plain oatmeal and add any of the following: sliced almonds, chopped hazelnuts, craisins, Central Roast Women's Vitality Mix (nuts, seeds, dried fruits), fresh pear, fresh blueberries, etc. It keeps me satisfied well into the late morning, early afternoon.

I grew up in the 70's. Pop came in big bottles, was purchased for "company" and poured into 3-4 oz glasses. It wasxa treat. The same with chips. My town didn't get McD's til I was 16. We ate in restaurants on super special occasions, otherwise meals were scratch made at home. I had a wonderful upbringing! No deprivation!

My changing time pre and post workout is likely 10-15 minutes total. I joined a gym across the street from my office to eliminate travel time.

When doing cardio I think of N-O-T-H-I-N-G. I go to this blank white room in my mind that is devoid of anything. When I'm strength training I mostly think about sex, lol
