Just finished a full hour of calisthenics. I am tired but I feel good. How was your workout today?

Only did my c25k this morning, ran late after almost talking myself out of going & it was easier than last time. And 3 sets of squats just because I love them. Looking forward to my normal 1.5hr lifting routine tomorrow.

Not great. I usually go to the gym in the morning, but life made me go in the afternoon. The gym is an entirely different animal then. The early morning folks are an older crowd (late 40 and up), that follow gym etiquette. I walked in this afternoon, and almost every set of dumbbells was laying on the floor. The afternoon crowd used them, dropped them, and walked away. Blew my mind. I still got my workout in, but I had to alter my routine from that I had planned due to the equipment that I wanted not being available. I'm glad I still went, but I was definitely "out of it."

Decent. Had to stop two reps into my main sets on bench and skip my pin press because my shoulders cranky, but I still showed up and gave it pretty good.

I'm glad you weren't successful in talking yourself out of running and I can't believe you love squats! Lol. Maybe I'll get there at some point but right now I prefer lunges.

Good that you still got your workout in. Not everyday can be a great day but you still put in the work and that's what's important.

Frustrating. My mind and heart and lungs were ready to add another set to my swim, my muscles however balked. I can't get past 5000 meters. I drink between sets and avoid pushing off but my legs still start cramping in the final set. Annoying!

Rest day! Although, eating as if it were a rest day was a problem. :grumble: I can't wait to get back at it tomorrow though!

Ugh, first time doing lunges & goblet squats in several months. My legs are like jello!

Short & sweet, 8.5km slow run @ 5:20 /km. My last training run before the Wings for Life event this weekend so I have a full 2 rest days plus pretty much a whole other day to kill before the event.

I was trialling a new running belt as well so it was a bit...weird, not used to having something around my waist when I run. But it was fine, I should be able to use it this weekend (no more gels in pockets for me!)

I went to physio afterwards though and it was absolute death, the PT massaged out my calves, it was excruciating.

    Don't worry you'll get there.

Sounds like you had a great workout session. Let's hope that continues today.
