  • As a diabetic on Metformin, I can't think of a WORSE idea than a doctor suggesting taking it for weight loss. It does NOTHING for weight loss.

  • Best tip I got from someone else... Sign up for a 10K a couple months from now that you have to pay money to enter. Now you essentially HAVE to do it. And then you're motivated. And then you can do it! :)
  • Same for me, love my Fitbit Charge HR, and love my Fitbit Aria scale (in BLACK!) Not having to log it every day is a nice thing!
  • I've lost quite a bit (30% of my body weight), and my hands/feet are FREEZING all the time. It's ironic, because I used to be hot all the time. A few years ago, I lived for a year in a place with much hotter summer weather; I wish I had lot the weight before then!
  • Once I hit my target weight (86 pounds down, 14 to go), then I will start eat a percentage of my exercise calories. But for now, that would defeat the purpose for me.
